Hey Guys!

Will the 2500 mAh powered battery serve justice to the Samsung G. Note??

We've got an impressive quadrant benchmark score, bigger and better resolutioned 5.3" Super AMOLED HD screen now! :D

And what not we can expect on the final polished OS

What do you think?? :)

I have it very good battery life

The official specs mention ca. 4.5 hours talk time on 3g, which is about half the time of the Galaxy S2. I know these specs are usually unreliable, but can it really be half? How are these stats calculated? I appreciate the bigger screen requires more juice, but it shouldn't make a difference when just talking (i.e. with the screen off), should it? Actually, I would have expected that, with the screen off while talking, the bigger battery of the Note should have given more talk time than the S2. I am a little puzzled...

How are you finding your battery life vs other smartphone (e.g. Galaxy S2)? Can you get at least one day out of it with push email and the occasional web browsing?

Thanks.

Engadget have tested the battery life and it survived 9hrs 36 mins of continous video playback, which they believe is quite awesome, putting it in pad2 territory

I think the Galaxy S2 lasted around 7 hours with the same test. I saw a chart which compares the battery life of the GS2, iPad and iPhone 4 - and if memory serves, the GS2 performed the worst in the continuous video playback test. I've been looking for that chart but can't find it, I think it was from Engadget. Maybe someone here knows what I'm talking about.

Battery life didn't seem that great first couple of days, but it's got a lot better now. Passes my full day at work test - using it all day with plenty of browsing, ebook reading and email, maybe 30 minutes of calls, and Im usually down to about 30%. Good enough for me.

Maybe I'm imagining it, but batt life seems noticeably worse connected to wifi than 3G. Prefer it that way round, if I'm near wifi it usually means Im near a power supply.
