the dalvik-cache file and libraries keep unlinking upon reboot. Skimming the xda developers forum, it sounds like it may have to do with me using a FAT partition.

I also read how someone forced it to move always and it reboots and moves all of them every single time.

Anyone with experience on this? On 2.1, libraries were an issue, but not the dex. It's annoying, TIA.

Hi,

As I don't use link2SD I can't really say... Do you use FAT16 or FAT32?

I haven't moved dalvik to SD card, because my SD card is not fast enough. It'll possibly slow down the phone's operation to run it off SD... So I keep it in data and just link the Apps. Works fine here (With app2sd)

Hi - thanks for your response.

I use FAT16 (still, been meaning to reformat to ext2)

That is a good idea - may be leave those alone. The issue was space. Since I last posted, I discovered System Tuner and Titanium Backup!

I was able to back up Thinkfree, LG app advisor and delete them both. That freed up a lot of room. Plus now with Titanium, I backup certain apps I use very rarely, and restore them when I absolutely need to. It is amazing! So my original problem still exists, but the overall problem is gone, thanks to Titanium.

Yeah, Titanium really is an amazing solution. I even bought the pro license because I wanted to encourage the author.

What size is your link2SD partition? Have you tried formatting in FAT32 to see if that helps? Keep in mind ext2 will only work if you use my custom ROM. And at that point, I'd recommend ext4 instead, as the performance is much better.

Yup for $6 it's a bargain. I might buy it soon too.

The link2sd partition is like 1gb or something. It's plenty. I am only using like 200megs.

Oh I didn't know that regarding the ext2/ext4. Never mind that then.
