Help Pulling my hair out!!!! Plz help!!!

I am freaking out yesrerday I tried making a call n the guy couldnt hear me, and I thought it wad nothing. Well today I tried to call today n NO ONE CAN HEAR ME!77 I CAN HEAR THEM BUT THEY CANT HEAR ANYTHING. I HAVE THE METRO PCS HUAWEI ASCEND.N I GATTA MAKE SOME IMPORTANT CALLS SO PLZZZZZ PLZZZZZ HELP ME FIX THIS7!!

There are a few things you can try. First, check your dialer when you are in a call. You may have inadvertently pressed the mute button which will still allow you to hear the caller but you will be silent. Make a call and even if the mute button is not enabled, turn it on and off a few times to see if that helps.

If that doesn't work, reboot your phone. If you can make some calls that people can hear you but other's can't and it continues to happen, you'll want to perform a factory reset. Keep in mind that this wipes your phone's memory so you should make sure that all important data is backed up.

If nobody can hear you after that, then it might be a hardware failure and you'll need to get the phone replaced.

also make sure bluetooth is not enble, try restarting the phone, ill all fails, you may have a blown speaker/defective device and needs replacing.

Hello Original Poster! Have you figured anything out? I only bought my Ascend 2 yesterday and when I make a phone call no one can hear me speaking.

Funny thing is, if I make the call with the skype app (through the Ascend's dialer) the person on the other end CAN hear me. So I'm thinking it has nothing to do with the mic, but software related.

I tried rebooting and also uninstalling Skype to see if that was somehow messing with things, but no luck. No one can hear me.

If I turn the phone with the end toward my mouth and speak directly in to the mic my roommate said he could hear me a little bit. So I'm not exactly sure what the issue is.

might be a defective device and should be taken in for service.

my bluetooth is not on or my mute button is not on everything is where is suppose to be and idk how my phone started actin like that when i call people they can;t hear me and when they call me it don;t go to my voicemail it just sounds like a busy line like beep beep idk whats wrong with the phone or what i did try to rest the whole phone meaning everything got deleted and i didn;t check if it work i just try to download everything back so oopss if i wasn;t suppose to so can you please help me im missing alot of important calls and i hate i can;t hear them or the calls won't come in nomore somebody please help
