Love the pic! I'd like a car cradle/charger combo and a standard charging dock for home. Never needed anything multimedia as my home theater is chocked full of goodness :D

I have it bookmarked in my browser from when he first posted it so no problem on putting it there for all to see.

I won't even need half of that but looks like you have it all covered except for a covering of some sort. I don't know that I'm comfortable leaving Precious naked.

Same here. But I don't want it to ruin the form of the phone. It's so pretty!

Edit: That's a TON of stuff

Well, you can drop the microUSb to HDMI cable adapter. It will only work with the HDMI/MHL adapter I'm pretty sure. From what I've read, the phones with MHL *have* to have power coming in for it to work, so the straight up HDMI adapter without power won't do anything.

I guess we won't know for sure until we get our hands on it and test it though...

VLC for Android is still in development and not yet in production. If you go to their web site, you will see their message...
VideoLAN - VLC media player for Android

The poster mentioned that it is a beta version and the poster might have got it from a different source as there is no public beta.

is that the vlc remote app or is there an actual player for vlc. I needed an nice media player to play some mkv files , i have been using moboplayer for now

Just downloaded it here.

Can't believe I didn't know VLC had an app. That's excellent.
I wish I could remember where I heard about it, it was within the last month. It's not on the app market, or at least it wasn't then. I had to download it on CPU and manually put it on SDcard. Someone may have even posted it here, slept wayyyyyy to many nights since then though. :)

I don't know my GA geography very well but I was down there (and drove from MI) in the summer for my cousin's wedding. a) it was beautiful b) had great service the whole time on VZW! We were in some really small towns/country too because her wedding as at Lake Lanier Islands (which are awesome now BTW, they did a revamp about 6 years ago)

Wow, you were right in my area then. We actually had a house on the lake that was about a 15 minute drive from Lake Lanier Islands. Living there was great when the lake was up, but when we had droughts (almost ever year) and the lake was down it kinda sucked. Great Verizon coverage in that area even quite a ways out on the lake. That area is what made me switch from At&t to Verizon as a matter of fact. The coverage was just so horrible that it actually led to me getting out of my contract with the Empire.

Kit lenses?? smh :( This makes me sad
I even said it's an entry level dSLR. I actually have 10 super high quality lenses for my old SLR, but I don't think they have adapters for them. But I hardly used that camera anymore, and used the standard lens 99% of the time. So I can't honestly justify the expense for some new ones when the kit ones work fine.

If I ever get to a point where I need some fast glass, then I'll spring for some nice lenses.

Its so beautiful there! I loved it. I was very smug when my boyfriend (who I converted to Verizon a month earlier) used his fruit phone for navigating when we got lost with my parents. He knew he never would have been able to do it on AT&T.

For those of you that may be looking for wireless bluetooth stereo headphones I purchased a pair of Sony HBH-IS800 and they work great, sound good and stay in your ear even while working out.

I think they were $100 when I bought them...not sure how much they run now.

Looks like they run about $70 -$80 retail. I may check those out. thanks.

I'm still not sure I'll end up getting any device specific accessories this time around. I'm tired of spending a $100 bucks on things that I have to replace every year. Most of the things I will get this time will be pretty universal, unless the specific accessories do something really unique.

Car dock - a must have with Google Nav.
MHL to HDMI adapter
HDMI to component converter (my Hitachi is a great TV, but has 0 HDMI inputs.

My bluetooth, aux line in cable, headphones, car chargers and wall chargers they I already own should continue to work well with this phone.

Ugh, Steven. Stop messing with my brain. I am more than hopeful and excited for 11/17 and that it is release date.

But has Verizon officially announced the release date yet?

Can we at least not put things like "Thank the lord!" and a timer until we know OFFICIALLY?

And/or did I miss something else? I'm just tired of getting caught up in the hype. If there's more that I missed (besides the unfinished memo and your source), someone repost or pm me. I've been gone for 2 days and tried to catch up but 2k posts is a bit redonkulous.

We're leaning towards 16GB-$200 or $250 and 32GB-$300, but it's mostly speculation at this point. The most solid thing we have is that Steven's source heard that 32GB will be $300.

By the way, Apple pricing is 16GB-$200 and 32GB-$300 as well, not $300 and $400.

You're right, sorry about that. I forgot Apple introduced 64GB with the iPhone 4S and that's the $400 phone, not the $300. Thanks for clairfying.

$200 - 16GB
$300 - 32GB
$400 - 64GB

Okay, so we're hoping the 32GB model is the $300 phone. Got it.

A wired 3-button/mic headset should work right? My charge doesn't work with the mic part but the buttons work and I read somewhere that was because Samsung blocked it or something along those lines. I'm not sure if that was correct or not. I'm thinking if they won't work, I should just sell them to an Apple fan. I'd like to use them if I could because for the price they sound pretty good.

Its a combination of a leaked screenshot of a Verizon document that spells out the release will be on the 17th, with ad material going up on the 15th, The Source stating they have not heard anything other than the 17th, and Kellex's rumor of the 10th (now 11th), 14th, and 17th being the three dates. We know the RAZR date was changed last minute (most of us feel dumbly too), but basically 2 out of 3 of those have already been confirmed.

We can only base things off the information available. The available information says that the device will be out on the 17th, so that is what we can offer right now. Could it change? Of course it could, but an internal document and other sources confirming is typically a pretty good sign. If the date changes then the OP will change, it was happens when you try to offer everyone the latest information on a specified topic.
