I smell a skunk. Of course, I tend to smell skunks any time that DL releases "leaks" about Nexus. What percentage have they been RIGHT????

Let's hold on to the 17th. If it comes and goes and launch IS the 21st... then we'll only have 4 days to wait, and half of that's the weekend. Piece o' cake.

Droid life has actually been one of the most accurate. However i dont buy this save a serious supply issue. I am sticking with the 17th.

Dont know if anyone else noticed that the razr and rezound have the red line under them to let you know they are spelled wrong. isnt that in microsoft word? i dont believe this leak. just looks like someone made this at home.

hopefully its not right. :/

Also, every official reference to the RAZR has the name in all caps, unlike the latest "leak."

Unless Verizon releases roadmaps in word doc format and not in some format ato prevent editing down the road, I agree that this is a bad fake.

That is a good point. This is someone just looking to cause a stir.

That's why it is a "leak" it isn't finished yet, the final version would not have those lines. Still seems pretty accurate.

That makes no sense unless the person who is creating the roadmap is also the leaker.

A leak would come from a downstream consumer of the information, not the person who sets the policy, IMO.

The most telling thing is that leaking a rough draft greatly increases the risk for the leaker of getting caught. If it is legitimate, the person who did it is gonna have some serious heat on them.

P3:

Tomorrow us a big day for tbh...I can't sleep to tonite

Since his tweet isn't written in anything close to English, I'm not sure what he's saying, exactly, but it seems to me that Han's prediction that we'll see something tomorrow may not be wrong...

*fingers crossed*

tbh is Team Black Hat, of which P3 is a part of. TBH does a lot of root/hacks to devices. So apparently they are releasing something tomorrow. That's all it means.

EDIT: Adding a camera test! It seems a little blurry at first but I'm assuming it's because it's windy and his hands aren't stable. The close up shots are absolutely gorgeous.

Galaxy Nexus Kameratest - YouTube

Ugh, lots of that CMOS rolling shutter "jello effect."

I'm not too concerned only because I don't shoot a whole ton of video from my phone, but it seems very pronounced, especially as he's walking. But I can't say that I've seen a non-CCD sensor produce results any better.

I don't know what people's expectations are, but you're not going to get studio quality shots in a thin device with a pinhole sized lens. These things should never be considered as replacements for high quality camera/video equipment, but enough to get you by when you need it.

I thought it looked pretty good.

I don't think it will be "web only" I think it means "week of"... the other leak we had last week said they were sending "promotional materials"... Dont think they would need them for an online only sale.

And if it comes out that week, I think it will either be Monday or Tuesday. I don't see them releasing a phone the day before Thanksgiving, on Thanksgiving, or Black Friday.

Ah, I thought he was saying "to be honest" which is why I was confused, haha.

Apparently, Kellex got confirmation from the source that w/o indeed meant web only. Does that match up? Could be. Nexus devices have historically been sold on the web. Costco will sell the GNex, but not available at stores, they'll send it to you. Verizon promo material could be to educate the in store CSRs to answer questions about the GNex, and how it compares to the other devices.

I'm not drawing a conclusion either way, but it does seem plausible.

Is the notification light variable colored? (lots of color choices)

So far we've seen green, white, and I think purple. I might be making the purple up though.

If I'm not, I suspect there'll be more colors than just those 3.

Edit: As to whether the leak means "web only" or "week of", it could be both (ick)...
It's entirely possible that it's launching the week of the 21st, and that Kellex's source's claim that it was only available online was independent of that fact.

Agree completely.

And srsly - am I the only having to constantly translate away from "without" ever time "w/o" appears?

Friendly mod note - we permanently sent someone today to visit the nice Vorlon down the hall, second door on the left.

Always remember - for any bickering or backbiting that crops up, please just tap that !Report button for us instead of bothering with them - with our thanks in advance for that, and our on-going thanks for the very high posting standards that you've all maintained. Well done!

Cheers! :) ;)
