Has anyone considered the possibility that p3droid was the source of this "fake" leak purporting a web-only launch on the 21st? He tweeted something a few days ago indicating the 21st, we keep trashing him on this forum, kellex said he had a "source" but also didn't sound like he thought this new leak was gospel. I could see kellex posting something from p3. Don't know, but I'd love to believe this latest "delay" is simply more of p3's pot-stirring....

Could we maybe put P3 IN the pot and stir??

I could be wrong because I don't actually own an android phone yet, but when I played with them at the VZ store, I think I tried pinching and it did the same thing on the Charge and the Bionic too. Don't really remember about the Revolution...
As OTD mentions below, it was part of Touchwiz as well as Sense. But latest incarnation of Blur I played with did not have that. Never tried the RAZR or Bionic though.

It also a TouchWiz feature and in several launchers.

Wasn't sure about Touchwiz, thanks for the info.

My DX has pinch to zoom on the homescreen.
It's been a very long time since I saw the homescreen of my DX. I know Eclair and Froyo for the DX did not have that feature. But I just tried my wife's running the latest GB, and it did not pinch zoom on the homescreen, either.

Perhaps you're running another launcher. Or more likely I'm missing something.

.
On the stock DX Gingerbread, if you are on your home screen and press the home button it zooms like Sense, but no pinch to zoom.

I seen a Verizon RAZR commercial during the Giants - Patriots game today.
They dramatized the release date at the very end.

So... the RAZR gets prime time promotions eh?

Hmmmm.....

Played with one today. Have to say it felt SO much better than the Bionic. Still wanted nothing to do with it, but it was certainly an upgrade.

I was thinking about this possibility as well. The lack of proper spelling is a dead giveaway for P3's antics.

It figures........... If I don't have the money its everywhere.
If I have the money I can't find it.

So for more then 8 months I have been trying to abandon my OG Droid. I've had $20.00 a week on auto pilot depositing into a side account at my Credit Union for 8 months. I Started it waiting for the Bionic then the GSII and now the GN. I kinda forgot about it.
Today I did the books and seen I now have $640.00 in there and suddenly am interested in retail as a possible move.

I confess I have not given the retail vs. subsidized posts here the full read because it was a no-brainer for me to just NE2.

So can I get your opinions on my options?

My contract is up 1/1/2012.
I have a NE2.
I have a $50.00 discount available.
I have the unlimited data plan.
I want the Galaxy Nexus.

Why would I do one over the other. The gyst I get is if no contract is the game retail is the same.
If I let my contract expire & retail I just keep going keeping the unlimited data until I make a new contract.
If I NE2 & -$50.00 I keep the unlimited data in writing vs. a new policy that strips the out of contract subscribers of the unlimited data.

What am I gonna do with the $640.00 and counting? :D

:eek::eek:

I am just in shock here! On the one hand P3Droid has been so good at the leaks...but do I really believe that Steven accepted a bribe?:thinking::p

Fake:
Several things wrong.

1. No misspellings. Dead giveaway. How hard is it to spellcheck a twitter post. Jeez.
2. He wouldn't mention AF, because he is the source of all information.
3. He wouldn't mention anyone else, because that draws attention away from him.

:D

Hilarious comeback! Poor P3Droid. I put him on a stake didn't I? I had to think of a credible source to make the star wars bribe thing believable. :D

Listen Gapi. We're both in GA and I happen to think the whole PI thing is cool. Therefore, my thought is that you stick with the discounts you have and give me $300 in order to purchase my Nexus. From one GN fan to another, you know?

I would use the NE2, get the unlimited for another 2 years, and let the remaining money sit for the next phone upgrade in 12-16 months. Or treat yourself to something else.

I think that once you buy the phone and put it on your account that starts the next contract. Now - if you buy it retail it saves your NE2 and discounts in case something comes out early next year that you like more (I can't imagine thtat though??!!!)

Hmmm, I was going to offer to help with paperwork or something in exchange for that other $300 for my new SGN. Lol.
