well i got my replacement. the 2 things i have wrong with it is
the gallery when opened shows the pic's scattered and you cant click on them at all. once you pic camera roll there fine, organized and clickable. this is different from the first bionic, and i dont know if this is the way its supposed to be.

the second is the button on top of the phone is flush with the housing. this is number 3. heading to number 4.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to click on those scattered pictures, I know I can't. You'd think you'd be able to but you can't, you just have to go to the gallery.

ok so i got my replacement like i said above for the button reason. so i have not switched it yet, at the house waiting for me, and during lunch today bsod, dammit. i think i am done with the bionic. the rep told me if this new one is bad we will seek out a different solution. one of which is a different phone. i dont know what to do. i may just get them to refund my money and reset my upgrade date. go back to my storm2.

It's unnerving that some people are having these massive issue - I knew a few people who were on their 5th and 6th Motorola DROID back in the day as well.

This is my second Moto Android-based phone, and I've had nary a trouble with either of them. However, since you keep getting lemons, if I were in your shoes I'd opt to get my money back and upgrade reset and wait fro the Galaxy Nexus....

well i got my 4th replacement. it was new, no referb date sticker, and aside from backup assistant issues, all is grand. hope it lasts. going to rootsville next.

What do you mean exactly by the "referb date sticker"?

I'm on my 5th replacement. My first Bionic was having reboot/freeze issues & headphone whining so I swapped it for another new one. The new one was having the same issues, so I had Verizon send me refurb phones. The first 2 refurbs were returned because the barcode or serial number stickers were ripped off. This last refurb phone is intact, but is still having reboot/freeze issues and headphone whining.

With Th3ory ROM flashed, I no longer experience any issues. But I still plan to swap my phone for a Galaxy Nexus when it releases just because I have learned to hate Motorola smart phones.

I was on my 17th day of my Bionic, I had lost 4G for a couple days. Contacted CS, they were not much help, the same line. They sent me a new SIM card, and the issues got worse. They said we will send you a Refurb replacement. I told them you have to be kidding me. I demanded a Brand New Phone or I would cancel all three lines that I have carried with them for close to 12 years. I can see them giving me a Refurb after a couple months, but less then three weeks on a $600 phone, I dont think so. I have a Brand New one, and have not had near the issues as I had with the old one. We will see what happens in the next couple weeks. Wondering if it is a Batch thing with these phones. Time Will Tell

don't fall for that again. The 30 Day Worry Free Guarantee states that within your 30 days you will get a brand new unit not a Refurb. I did this when i got my DX at Launch. As soon as i mentioned the 30 day worry free guarantee on my 8th day of having the device they sent me a brand new one.
