Help Sending Text to my girlfriend, if I must!

My partner is shopping mad, so I get out of it by playing with my Samsung 10.1.

It would be really useful if she could text me in some way, and me, her!

I have trawled the forums but can't seem to find anything that will allow this.

I can't believe I hold all this POWER in my hands, and can't send a simple text message!

Am I missing something here, surely theres a way?

Hey i searched forever too. I was going to use kaokao messager but i had to enter my cell number to confirm and i didn't want that. So i keep looking through tons of apps. I found one that works and it's great. I use text plus on my ipod but it wouldn't work on my tablet. But if you search text plus there are different kinds. Get the textPlus Int'l Free messaging. All you need is wifi and your good. Just make a simple account and it's easy and looks great!

You can use Google Voice if you set up an account. I use it on my PC (at work), my laptop, my phone, and my Tablet. Works like a charm.

Just use gtalk. It will text her on her phone from you tablet and vice versa. When she texts you it will pop up in the lower right corner like an email does. Done.

Mysms will work. Got it free from the android market. I love it because you can use your own cell number to send and recieve texts. You need the app on your cell and tab.
