Root HTC Inspire root

Is there a one click root for the HTC inspire? Running 2.3.3 The ace hack is way to hard for me.

He did say that it was way too hard for him...

on the other side of that coin, it may seem overwhelming...but once you start digging into the ace hack kit, its pretty easy. i didn't know what any of it meant, until i started on the steps. It took longer to download than it did to run it properly. Don't be afraid!!

i have been trying to root my phone for some time and everytime i get to the menu where i have to enter the pass key and actually enter the pass key it says read the effin manual ??????????????? can someone help

I lold at this. Last night I flashed the cm7 nightly absolution rom and after playing with it for a little while I lost root. I downloaded a splash screen I think it was. And the directions to flash it said to go into bootloader to set it up. Well..long story short once I was in boot loader some how I lost root and the phone went back to 2.2 stock rom. So anyway I had a friend originally root the phone because I had never done it before and was scared to brick the thing. Luckily I still have ace hack kit on my computer. First 4 attempts to re root my phone failed. And this is where read the effin manual comes into play...follow the steps exactly. I thought that I would be able to use the goldcard image that was already in the kit from the first time my phone was rooted. Wamp Wamp..nope. generated new goldcard image. Placed it in the folder at the exact time the effin manual said and blam my phone was rooted again after finishing the rest of the effin steps lol. Thank goodness I backed up the absolution rom before all of this went down. Restored backup from rom manager and tada back in business.....Tip of the day....read the effin manual and if you mess up and your phone will not boot up....and is stuck at the white HTC screen of doom...pull the battery and. Turn on with volume down and power and let hboot update by pushing volume up and you start over fresh afterwards.

Yup the AAHK is crazy simple. I held off from rooting for a couple of months b/c I was afraid of screwing up the phone. Then AAHK was released and essentially made it a one-click process. Then when I had a problem with a custom ROM and for some reason I've yet to discover both of my nandroids wouldn't install, the hack kit restored my phone to out-of-the-box new and I just started over from scratch. Sure it's nerve wracking as hell the first time you do it. But just read the effin manual and follow it exactly. It works.

lulz, I was stuck here too. I had an issue where the passkey wasn't working correctly.

You must have an SD card, it briefly turns into a high tech piece of software that allows your phone to be rooted.

Pass key is in txt>cajun. Copy and paste it in.
