Crappier Battery than other versions

Has anyone else noticed that the T-Mobile version of the galaxy s2 seems to have a shittier battery life? After customizing all the settings and turning off unnecessary syncing crap, with light to moderate usage I am able to squeeze out about 24-30 hours of usage from a full charge.

My girlfriend has the galaxy s2 from AT&T and she can charge it once and use it for over 3 days. Her battery goes down about 1% or less every hour. She barely tweaked anything at all. Syncing everything too >_>. Jealous

I know the tmo version has a bigger screen, but both of our biggest battery drain is the Android System processes. Also, I thought the Tmo ver has a bigger batter and the cpu uses less energy...

Yes, I have the same issue. From what I heard (can't post links as a new user) this is related to the Qualcomm processor this phone is using that is different from the AT&T version (in addition to the larger screen). Also, if T-Mobile has a more intermittent signal in your area (not the case for me), phone spends more power trying to catch cell towers.

If your getting 24-30hrs use out of a battery on any smartphone your doing pretty good. I don't see what your complaining about. I use my phone heavily all day texting, web browsing, facebooking, random youtube videos, screen brightness is not all the way down, my weather updates every three hours. I right now am on 14hrs after charge and am down to 22% and I find that pretty good for me. You shouldn't expect 2-3 days out of any smartphone if you actually use it.

Note: I used the 4636 code and checked our batteries. Hers actually has a lil over 3900 mV vs mine which has 3800. Doubt that would make a big enough diff though...

Battery is hardly different than other versions I had the sprint one and it wasnt any better battery wise you just have to set your screen brightness down adjust your power,saver settings and run juice defender ultimate.

Honestly that seems almost impossible especially for smartphones these days, I used to get that kind of battery life out of my blackberry but i've had iphone4, droid x, droid incredible, droid x2, and now switched to tmobile and have the galaxy s2 and I see better battery life out of this phone than all of those but not 15hrs with only 14% drain, but then again I actually use my phone too.
