Help Phone freezing and resetting itself

So I have noticed that an annoying problem happens every so often, not too common, but enough for it to be annoying.

I will be on a call, or just online, maybe downloading an app, not doing anything intense. Then my phone with vibrate once real quick...then two more vibrates about two or three seconds later, then it will freeze up and it seems to restart. It doesn't go through the whole "Samsung" entry screen like I just turned it on, but it resets all my media and such, like I am turning it back on.

I don't have my phone overloaded with pointless apps or anything, it is pretty tame and there is nothing on there malicious that I know of, I am not sure where to even get anything like that.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you know a way to fix it? Perhaps restoring it? Which I am not sure how to do that either heh.

Do not return it! This is just a minor bug that comes with the dumb stock rom. They will fix this soon, or if you want it now then just install a custom rom it will have no problems at all, and it will run at least two-times faster then the stock rom. This problem that you have is just the app freezing then force closing, which can overload the ram, therefore making it restart even its most important processes.

To update your phone, you just do it by the ota way. There may be a notification (I am not sure), or you can check by going into settings and finding it (I honestly can not remember, I have a great rom that does not have the update option because you have to update it manually). If you want to fix this problem right away, like i said before go ahead and install this rom [ROM] Infused v2.1.0 - (08/27) - xda-developers if you want it fixed and the newest operating system on your Infuse. The app store is having problems installing apps, because google is waiting for Samsung to fix it. Samsung probably will not for a while, but a minor fix is to go into settings, then applications, then manage tap on the all tab, find the market and clear data. This can also fix market problems if there are any others, even if you install another rom.

Dude this JUST happened to me this morning and i am so freakin annoyed with this phone right now.

First off, i had to return my first infuse because the sound suddenly just STOPPED working. It worked the night before, woke up the next morning----NOTHING.

NOW, my new phone(which thankfully cost nothing to replace) keeps resetting itself. I turned it off during the night, turned it on this morning and my screen saver is GONE(i just had to reset it but still!) and half my apps/games are GONE. I had to re-download half of my apps. I'm so confused and annoyed with this phone.:thinking::thinking:

Oh and question: Now i have this icon in the top left of my screen and it says "Blank External SD card: SD card blank or has unsupported file system". What the *beep* does that mean?! It just showed up out of no where.....

I really like this phone....but the little problems are getting old.
