Hey Guys! Congrats to everyone who managed to get their Vigor so early.:D I have a noob question for you guys. I know next to nothing about the whole 4G LTE thing. I mean I know it's a faster speed as far as upload/downloads but how they work and what all you need to make it work I'm unsure of. The reason I'm asking is that I am planing on getting the Vigor and but I'm looking at flashing it to a different network. The thing is this network doesnt have 4G LTE capability so after watching the wirefly unboxing video I noticed that the guy doing it said he didn't have a LTE sim card for the phone so he didn't even know if it would work or not. That got me concerned so basically I'm wondering 2 things. How do you get the LTE sim cards for these phones and does a 4G LTE phone work on a 3G only network? As I said I'm sure this is a noob question but as the time for purchasing this gets closer I wont to be sure about what I'm getting into. Thanks in advance.

This is a good question, I am gonna move it to its own post in the Android Lounge since this question can be asked of several different LTE phones. Am interested in seeing the answers... :)

HTC Vigor is a Verizon phone, their 3G is CDMA. You will not be able to use it on any other major carrier.

You may be able to flash it to someone like Cricket, etc., but you will need a special phone shop to do that.

It's actually the Cricket network that I was talking about so that part is covered. What do you mean when you say a special phone shop though?
