How can I convince Big Red to let me upgrade early?

My Incredible is still kicking strong, but I really want to upgrade when the Galaxy Nexus is released. My upgrade isn't due until April. Is there any hope? Got any tips?

I've always had good luck getting an early upgrade by emailing customer care. Be nice and to the point. Keep it positive.

Well even though Christmas is around the corner, I heard Big Red was letting the elves take it easy this year so an early upgrade might be out of the question.

Well big red offered to let me upgrade for just a 20 fee (aside from the phone cost) even though my contract upgrade isn't until March. I decided to get a Thunderbolt off ebay and I know this will hold me till the end of my family plan contract in July.

Just give customer service a call. I have been with big red for 7 years, so ymmv.

I just talked to them yesterday about early upgrading, they also mentioned the $20 fee to early upgrade. As my 2 year upgrade is not too far out I decided to just wait it out, but I would check on the early upgrade fee for $20.
