lol :p

But seriously, it's completely gone, I thought I was uninstalling something else. But nope. ):

I haven't the slightest clue as to how I could get it back, I tried restoring it with Titanium Backup. I would even settle for a replacement, if need be(something that would always be displaying the time and my connectivity).

I rooted using the method in the sticky (would link, but apparently I don't have enough posts). I'm pretty new to android stuff, so I don't know what other info I would need to provide.

If you have Root Explorer:
Try to go into:
/system/app and look for statusbar.apk
click it to reinstall...

Then you may have to fix the permissions on it:

In Root Explorer Click Mount R/W (Read/Write)
Long Click the .apk select Permissions
Change the permissions to:

User: Read & Write
Group: Read
Others: Read

click Okay (permissions should have changed to rw-r--r--)

Click Mount R/O (Read Only)
reboot

(lemme know if you need a free explorer alternative that can change permissions)
hope all gos well :)

I do. :( I'm currently completely broke.

here is a all in one (i like it very much)..
~Advanced Tools~
https://market.android.com/details?id=scd.atools&feature=also_installed

Note*** all 4 tabs in advanced tools are all on the root directory at first..
they are there so you can make one tab..
system/app
another tab- sdcard...
another tab- data/data
...etc...so you can switch between them (pretty cool)***
========================
I am partial to ~Advanced Tools~ atm
but ... here are two more options:
ES File Explorer

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en

Ghost Commander File Manager

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ghostsq.commander&feature=search_result

========================

the process is the same on either of them:
1 mount as R/W
2 install apk and/or place .apk and .odex to sytem/app
(if it originally has a .odex file that gos with the .apk)
3 fix permissions if they are not right
4 mount as R/O
-reboot-

~*~:Dcrosses fingers for ya:D~*~

lemme know how it gos...and if need be... i can always upload the .apk from my phone for you if all else fails.

Yeah, I'm not finding it anywhere... looks like I'll need you to upload yours.

On a semi-related note, since I have no status bar, is there any way to put my phone into USB mode/mass storage/whatever some other way? I have other ways of getting stuff onto my mini SD card, but I'm just wondering.
