***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

We check the FCC daily (2x a day if that) on here.

If the GNex pops through the FCC you'll see it here before Engadget puts it up in their Friday post. Those are just things that passed through during the entire week.

That's why I love youguys. I barely check Google anymore for updates - we find it all out first! Im not be to being a tech geek but doing this amount of digging has been a fun new hobby for sure.

Plus the team effort is way more fun.

You're right TR. He has been great on sharing info. It was my fault when he went after me. I feel like a fool. The very next day he was giving us what we wanted. I thought he had the phone before my now famous tweet? I was wrong because the second he got it he started giving info.

Actually accesories have leaked. Cases have already shown up at vzw stores

Morning all, about the cases...do we know any more about them? Was this one store or have several stores received them? Has anyone actually seen the cases in a VZW store? I'd feel a lot better about this leak if there were reports of multiple stores receiving them and possibly an actual siting.

I hope we get some unbiased reviews of RAZR from users over the weekend. I'm interested in CK's take. He seems very knowledgeable about mobile devices and tech. But when you spend $$$ on a device you really WANT to like it and sometimes you see things through rose colored glasses.

I haven't ruled RAZR out. If glowing user reviews start pouring in, I might have to go check the thing out. However, I'm also leaning towards buying the GNex sight unseen if shows up next week. It's nice to have options for a change.

On a related note, for those who are going to visit VZW stores today I'd be interested to know what kind of turnout they're getting for RAZR release day.

To each thier own. I don't think I'd own another HTC device until they make some serious improvements in overall hardware.

IMHO, Motorola hands down makes the best phones for what suits me. If they'd only stop locking (encrypting) thier bootloaders and improve thier cameras a bit, they'd be by far my manufacturer of choice.

I have a feeling that the people who go in wanting to love the RAZR will love it, and the people who go in wanting to hate the RAZR will hate it. It's hard to distinguish unbiased reviews from biased reviews, and it's even harder to give an unbiased review. Everyone has preconceived notions before handling the device, and at least some of it will affect their experience.

That's why things like metacritic are so nice. I wish they had device reviews.

This is the 3rd RAZR email I have received from Verizon and I didn't sign up for info on it either.

I wholeheartedly agree - to each their own.
I like HTC builds and Samsung actually doesn't feel too bad. (I've been carrying around the Continuum just to hold a Samsung for a while)

Very true.

This applies to all to all sorts of products. Not everyone will like every phone. GASP, even the GNex. Some people hate certain manufacturers or have some grudge against them, and even if they were to come out with a nice device, many would instantly dismiss it. That's not negative criticism, it's just human nature. And you'll get that same sentiment in reviews. Knowing this, you can choses to put more weight towards reviewers who share your same priorities.

I really hope the Galaxy Nexus gets Jelly Bean soon after it comes out, because I really dislike Motorola phones
I don't know, I just find them incredibly ugly, I'm not a fan of the industrial look, so I would pass on a Motorola Nexus 4...

I bet we see a small shift in design focus now that Google and Moto Mobility are buds. I think they make great hardware with OK designs. Their radios/speakers/call quality is amazing compared to anything HTC imo

K is next. So think of a sweet treat that starts with K. I've heard Kit-Kat, but I doubt it since that's a trademark name, unless Google got permission. Too lazy to look it up.

And your point on Motorola phones is spot on. My #1 priority is that it works exceptionally as a phone, and generally Motos do.
