And your point on Motorola phones is spot on. My #1 priority is that it works exceptionally as a phone, and generally Motos do.

I really hope the Galaxy Nexus gets Jelly Bean soon after it comes out, because I really dislike Motorola phones
I don't know, I just find them incredibly ugly, I'm not a fan of the industrial look, so I would pass on a Motorola Nexus 4...

This should be the first phone that gets Jelly Bean. As I doubt there will be another nexus phone until this time next year they will launch it on the latest Nexus first.

I would bet that around the time other phones are starting to get ICS we should start hearing about Jelly Bean and get it soon after.

Ok - so - if it's associated with being on the charger - have either of you tried cleaning the battery contacts?

Just tried that, cleaned it with spit and kleenex, still nothing.

In case you need it again, the simplest thing that I have found for cleaning battery contacts is a pencil eraser. The little bit of abrasive action can really shine them up.

I found it funny - but it's probably best you had the hide right there - I think we are too close for a practical joke to be taken lightly. Also - Steven or Early made it clear that anything along those lines would be considered playing dirty and could result in infractions. We wouldn't want to see you spanked this close to release.

I know, I know. I guess I'm already too on edge, though. It's like when you're really anxious for something to happen, and a "Gotcha!" moment will either make you start laughing and expel nervous energy so you calm down, or it will make you instinctively punch the person in the face.

I'm in the latter category unfortunately, at this point in time.

I stopped by VZW to check out the RAZR. I played with it for about 30 minutes or so. I started downloading a 1.5 GB movie in the background while trying to use other apps. On this device, I was not able to use youtube as it just kept loading but not playing anything. Also, there were instances that voice search would just pop up. The temperature on the phone registered 50 C the whole time.

Personally, other than the thinness of the phone, there is not much about the phone that I like. My wife's droid charge is able to do the above task simultaneously without a problem.

Just wanted to share my experience.

Everyone is a little bit on the edge. While I appreciate you lightening the mood, the mods have indicated they won't stand for shenanigans. Don't be surprised to see a few posts disappear.
