So I just got my replacement Dinc2 after a one foot drop obliterated the screen of my launch day Dinc1 (rooted + CM7). After using the phone for a day I have to say that I am greatly disappointed in this device.
Firstly, the phone feels flimsy compared to the original. They obviously skimped on the materials and went all in on plastic. Secondly, the call quality is horrid and the speakerphone is more or less unusable in any location with any sort of background noise.
The charging port is backwards and in a stupid spot. They moved the wake button to the wrong side (I'm left handed) and I actually miss the home button/track ball. Oh yeah, the screen is no where near as crisp.
On the plus side the processor seems snappy and the larger screen is a welcome addition. The camera seems quality as well.
Thankfully I still have my upgrade and will be getting the Galaxy Nexus the day it comes out. Still, though, I'm really sad that they didn't hit a home run with the sequel to one of the best smartphones ever released.
