Leaked Update

Appears to be the fix for the pink blob on the camera. I have no more pink blob after installing however white balance appears to be kind of flakey sometimes white comes out yellow or greenish depending on the lighting. Still much better than a pink blob in the middle of every picture!

80mb for that?

I haven't seen any "pink blob" with the pictures I have taken so far..

Here's one I took a week ago or so when I got the phone (This was taken inside looking through a window..a dirty one at that.)

All these inanimate objects that require my services as mother to their children. They would be beautiful, and perhaps a little Borg-looking. That car is yummy in a really obnoxious way :D Also looks like the pink's there on purpose, makes it look very arty.

LOL Yes, sometimes it works with the picture but more often than not you end up with people looking like they have a sunburn :D It really was a big problem for me almost to the extent of wanting to go back to iphone. I am glad they are working on fixing it as I really love this phone and did not wan't to have to go back to iphone!

New info:

You DO NOT have to be root after all, you have to name the file PASSIMG.ZIP and put it into the root of the SDCARD.

Get into the bootloader and it will ask you if you wish to update.. I have, am now on ERE36B

I can also report that the dots on the home screen aren't fixed.

Bad news is (and I didn't realise at the time) that it resets the phone, so my messages and apps have gone walkabout. Arse.
