I'm actually in favor of flooding Verizon's twitter, facebook, and other social media. The whole point of these outlets is to share expressions and info. Why is it okay for verizon to spam us with all these RAZR emails (I got like three), and we are considered "childish" for posting on their Facebook. Albeit, those who are going to post hateful things should refrain from posting at all. But nonetheless it's partly our fault for not having a release date by now because we haven't exhausted all our options. Really, I doubt even 5% of us have given taken the time to write even ONE post. Sure we sit back and wait on this thread for leaks (and that's all good), but we need to force Verizon into giving us the info. All this asking sales reps and call center employees is pointless. Also, the leaks are really just for our leisure, because we know in the back of our mind that there is a good chance it might not be correct information.
I'm asking everyone with an account to post just one message on the Verizon facebook/twitter page. Do your part.

what about the deal with sammy? they are still obligated to release that puppy and sell as many phones as possible. moto, htc, sammy... it really doesn't matter to vzw as long as you upgrade and ink that contract.

"So Verizon, I've known you for quite a while, and that's all great. I understand you want to take it slow, but can you please hurry up and give me some Nexus release date info!? Please, don't hold out on me! "

Then I get a call from my daughter, who goes to Univ of Kentucky, that she's in the hospital, with a stomach and respiratory infection. *sigh* They released her, thinking that the two courses of antibiotics gave her a stomach infection. *sigh*.

Been busy at work.

Oh yeah, having trouble with DX. They're shipping me out a refurb. If I get the Nexus, the refurb will be worth more?

I'm tired.

It is only a matter of time but some of us are impatient. I am personally the most impatient person I have ever known. And we have been waiting for a long time.

Some of us are on phones that are not working properly and / or ages old and causing us problems to use on a daily basis.

You have to do what's best for you. I know you've said that you are limping along with your phone and it's given you problems lately. I can't say that HTC puts out bad devices and the fact that you can root it already is great. My problem is that Sense is so deeply entrenched in the phone that I don't see how they are going to get ICS on it any time soon. But that's my $0.02.
I think even if you get the phone though you'll still lurk to see what's going on and that could be just as bad.

That's true but perhaps Samsung came to an agreement or also feels it would be better for their sales if they gave the Rezound and Razr a little cushion between their releases.

This is where it gets a bit convoluted since we don't know who wears the pants in the relationship and all that ..

Ok so this post is actually coming from a Droid Razr.

First impression is that the phone is very awkward in my hands and even on 4g the browser doesn't seem as fast as it should. I do like some of the things that Moto has done with it, but overall I can say that this one is not for me. It just feels too much like a Bionic on a diet. It is faster than many other phones, but I'm just not getting a wow factor with this.

BTW, this phone is not even warm to the touch.
