Welcome Emotionalninja my buddies are doing no shave November for the gnex so u are not alone bud.

I'm not doing no shave November though, this is just a coincidence. If I get the Gnex on Thursday (which is what I am hoping for) I will be making a video in 1080p of me shaving the beard.

Likewise if the phone comes out in December (providing I don't throw myself into traffic first) I will be keeping the beard after November is over.

I already told my buddies who are doing no shave November with me that if I get the Nexus in November, the beard is coming off!

Just wanted to put my 2 cents into the great heap of unsubstantiated rumors because I'm bored. We have heard 3 interesting things.

1: This is going to be a soft launch.
2: Stores saying they aren't getting any of the phones in stock this week.
3: Verizon employees are getting training materials.

-I'm not buying the network problems that windsock has reported as he has a working device.. which would seem to contradict this. Also LTE isn't new to Verizon or Samsung at this point.

It would seem to all fall in line with a web only release hopefully soon. We know that they want to push the RAZR and Rezound. And doing a web only release at first might really suit this as we will all still get the device, but they can continue to market the RAZR and Rezound to the great unwashed for however long they choose. Then when things on that front start to die down. They can come in with a marketing campaign for the Nexus.

Disclaimer:: I am very impatient and want the phone as soon as possible so I am trying to see this from a positive perspective. Also debating on going back to T-mobile and just importing if we don't hear anything.

Is there ANY reason for vzw not to exchange the phone when the gnex comes out?? i just dont want to be stuck without gnex if i test drive one of these devices...

If you damage it. That's what makes me second-guess a "rental" of a Rezound, I'd be afraid I'd drop it and get a good ding in it, or even worse break the glass.

I'm probably going to wait for my upgrade date on the 28th. If the SGN hasn't come out by then, I'll take the Rezound or RAZR for a spin.

Because I don't think Verizon ever wants a bloat free, stock device on their network, they only bend over for apple......... well because they are apple the sales speak for themselves. Either way Verizon really doesn't want this phone on their network and is doing everything in their power to stall it.......... Just read black_man_x's recent tweets even he is frustrated with Verizon

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with Verizon's exchange policy here. I got the Bionic and I returned it after 14 days and went back to my OG Droid. Does that mean I have to wait until the Gnex to come out, or could I take advantage of the lengthy exchange period now and pick a Rezound and then exchange it for the Gnex?

I'm just getting impatient and my droid is ready to die any day now.
