So, as requested, introducing myself.
36 year old father of one 12 year old, adn one 12 week old - Project Manager in web development working in Sydney, Australia.
Bought my HTC Hero from TopBuy.com.au and it seems to have come from the Ukraine.
My carrier, Telstra, doesn't seem to use the same G3 band as the Hero though, so I'll probably have to find out who uses the right bands here in Australia. Then change carriers, and try to keep my old number.
Also, I'll probably have to do a factory re-set at that point, and go through the Set-Up properly.
