Whoever buys a Razr? Wins.

Whoever buys a Rezound? Wins.

Whoever buys a Galaxy Nexus? Wins.

This is a "win-win-win" scenario, here. They are all great phones and there are no losers. If you need to buy a phone and can't wait for the SGN? You have my blessings. No need to apologize. Enjoy your new toys.

Me? I'm waiting for the SGN...:D

Fixed it for you. ;)

I think I would be happy w/ the Rezound, I have LOVED my Dinc. But I'm still gonna wait to check out the SGN. It looks pretty killer.

Aw thanks...but it's what feeds my soul, so in a way, it's a little selfish. I'm a sucker for the ones nobody wants.

My boys (6 & 8) have been bugging me for months about my wife and I getting new phones; we were originally waiting for the Bionic. The kids just want the phones for Angry Birds. My wife then gets her Gingerbread update for her DInc and she hates it (I have had my update-rooted- for months- love it).

I finally went to the VZW store this afternoon thinking about making my family happy. I picked up the Razr but I hated it in my hand; Steven warned me about this. I then picked up the HTC phone / Vigor / Rezound. WOW- that phone felt great, the screen was awesome and Sense seemed good.

I resisted the temptation and I will wait for the Nexus! Sorry family but you will have a much better (happier) dad / husband for the wait.

Too many of us are settling for what's OUT... not necessarily what's BEST.

We know Nexus sales will eclipse those of every phone out there when it's released. We know it.

We think. We hope

So I do not understand this fascination with going in and getting an R-phone this late in the game. Can someone please explain this behavior?

Han that's the exact thing that happened to me. If you are on these forums and you haven't done this yet, what are you waiting for? It seems that it is their decision to pay us $50 each for being interested enough in the Gnex to write to them.

Would someone please take pity on me and tell me how to find this VP's email address. My wife and I are both waiting impatiently to get the GNex, and $50 each would be most helpful.

I had a chance to play with the RAZR today at work. One of the other techs gave in. It was light, but just didn't feel right in my hands for some reason. I liked the Kevlar backing, but I just couldn't get over the feeling that it felt easily destructible or something. I know that's a bit ironic given the Kevlar back and all, but it just didn't feel like a phone, more like a toy. I am glad I didn't preorder it.

Nice encouragement. If the GNex wasn't in the picture I'm sure I'd be thrilled with the ReZound. I'd love to "rent" one, but since my Droid 2 is working fine and I'm 99% sure I'll prefer the GNex I'll gut it out for a few more weeks.

I missed this earlier. That's a "lucky dog" right there! They are such awesome creatures(friends)!

I have a 12.5 yr old boxer. We had to put her brother to sleep earlier this year, so she gets to come to work w/ me now. She will be our last dog for a while since our boys are getting older and we are always gone to football, baseball, basketball and skiing. It's just not fair to leave them home alone all the time.

We went into Petco last weekend and there was rescue/adoption thing going on. There was a sweet, beautiful, brindle pit/boxer mix girl there that I immediately fell in love with. If not for the reasons mentioned above, she would laying here next my old girl today. Felt so bad I couldn't take her home.......

OK, So I step out for four hours and come back to 10!!! PAGES!! you folks have been busy!!! and new news?

Four hours? I have been gone basically 4 days, with only a quick peek or two to see what is the latest on the OP. I am back full time tomorrow again, will be good to get back in the swing of things here. Bummer that we have to wait a little longer, but I suppose it will give us a chance to surpass the Inc. thread, and rightly so, as this phone is the be all to end all phone on Verizon (for 2011 ;) ). Thanks again to everyone for the sympathies and safe travel wishes. You guys (and girls) are all awesome.

P.S. I already gave my congrats to Chief, but I see vette recieved Guide status too, so congrats to you as well!

Went to the Verizon Store and played with the Rezound. It's a nice phone, and conveniently they had it side by side with the Razr. To me, both phones are great, and it would be a toss up if I had to choose between them. That said, neither phone knocked my socks off to the point that I'd get off the GNex bandwagon.

Of course I asked the rep about the GNex, and she told me that she knew about it but had no idea when they were getting it in. She did plug the Razr really hard, and told me that if I decided to get a Razr, to call her so she could hold one for me, because they're selling so fast. LOL That made me smile.

Come on VZW, give us something! The Rezound and Razr are cool, but we want the Galaxy Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich goodness! Throw us a fricking bone here!

Yep, the one I held felt like a toy. Just seemed flimsy, like you could fold it in half. It was also uncomfortable.

The Vigor felt much better. Looked better too. And not as thick as people exaggerate it to be........

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyway. On the camera video that somebody posted, what is the story with the panoramic mode? The picture is extremely short (about one inch of the screen in height). Is that typical for panoramic mode? The image doesn't even fill the screen (maybe width wise it does).
