I am having a problem with the Gmail and need help...

I am noticing that when I attempt to send mail using the Gmail, it is stuck in a SENDING status. I am unable to send anything using that, but everything else such as FROM MY PHONE, Picasa, FB, it works fine...

I know I am logged in correctly cause I am getting my emails when they hit my inbox, and I get notified, but when trying to send.....nothing.

Any ideas on what to try and fix this?

Thanks:
Scott

Cool to know. But I wonder why it sticks like that? Seems like it would complete the process LIKE EVERY OTHER PHONE I'VE HAD WITH GMAIL.

Sorry about yelling.

I'm not sure why it gets hung up like that, but it will stay in the "sending" mode if you don't have it on Autosync. Once you hit refresh...you are golden. Stop yelling at me...:)

I am having troubles receiving email in my gmail account. I have had the Eris for 3 months now and this is the first of the problem. I am not getting notifications that I have an email. The only way I know is if it turns up 2 hours later or I hit refresh. I have not added any new apps, I turned the phone off and the email is in autosync. I dont know whats going on. I am missing important emails.....help!!!

I'm having different issues with the gmail app recently. In the past week or so, the view screen will wipe clear as if it's restarting. It used to work flawlessly and now it hangs up while I'm composing an email or wipes the screen to white then reverts back to the main inbox, deleting everything I've written. Could this be related to the Buzz launch? Anyone else having this issue?
