So anyone else thinking that we will be seeing more info about the Incredible at MWC? I am certainly hoping so. Maybe well get lucky and see a release date even! Based on the previous release of the droid and the eris I'm hoping we see something about it at MWC and then a release alongside the Devour. Your thoughts are appreciated.

I hope they give a specific release date. Last year at the MWC they only said:

"Both will be launching starting in the second quarter, with the Touch Diamond2 coming first."

Hopefully, we will get something more specific and sooner.

That would be fairly scary if after this thing no release dates were known, but at least they will be releasing specs and we should see what the final product looks like, which is up in the air right now.

Engadget will be covering it this year again, looks like. Press conferences start tomorrow.

Things are different this year. HTC's shares are down significantly. So much so that they have been forced to buy back 15 million shares of their own stock.

I would think that they would want to get the Incredible and their other new phones out for sale asap.

The buy back is actually a very good sign for HTC stock. If the bastards would sell it here in America I would be putting all I had in it. The buy back means that HTC believes their stock is not selling for what it is worth and believe strongly that shares will greatly improve.

I don't doubt they'd want to get them out asap but they have to work with carrier time tables.

For sure. After playing with the Eris and being convinced Sense was the thing of the future, I checked their stock online only to find out they are only traded on the TAIWAN stock exchange. I'm not sure how this would work if the stock is already traded on another exchange but I'd love to be part of an, umm... HTC IPO BABY!

So what are the chances that none of them come to Verizon?
I'm not sure, but I think the chances are very high that there is no carrier announcement. I watched Sony Ericsson's press conference at MWC via webcast and while they announced a few new phone products that said nothing about carriers. So, don't hold your breath for VZW specific news tomorrow, although I'll certainly be hoping for it.

There's a Verizon/Skype press conference about 7 hours later at 11:15am EST (tues). hopefully VZW says something other than they are partnering with Skype, something like "here are the new phones that will have Skype".
