This is a SERIOUS Razr issue, and is just about to pop out of control in the media. I've gone through 3 (three) Droid Razr's over this issue in just the last 7 days. The first one the up/down buttons were rendered useless. 45 lbs of squeeze pressure could not trigger the button. The second unit, the down button would stick into the phone and not come out. The third unit (just replaced today) the power button needs a chisel and a hammer to get it to work, but the up/down buttons work ok with the slightest, most comfortable touch.
I give up, Motorola. If THATs all the QA you can muster in Taiwan after spending your wad on $mils in TV ads, then you don't need my biz. Nor my family, nor my business. There's 41 phones that'll go to Samsung.
Getting a Samsung back in my hands was just enlightening. And the buttons are large and tactile responsive enough for your fingers to find them, and they actually move when pressed - not a glued-in stuck feeling like the Razr. And then of course there's the Samsung screen. It just BLOWS away the Razr's screen. Mot has put large black bezels all around the edge of the screen to try to hide the fact they stuck a way-too-small screen in the Razr. The Samsung Infuse, on the other hand, is the exact same size as the Razr, but the screen is 40% larger and bleeds edge-edge. GO FIGURE. Then there's the battery thing. Gezz
Nah, they blew it. It is quick though. But still unusable. Back it goes, I'll put up with Samsung over this mess anyday
