Hi all
After a bit of advice as had a major (well in my eyes anyway) squeaky bum moment earlier. (I've had a quick search but can't see to find a reason, so sorry if this has been answered a 1000 times already)
Bit of background.
Desire is s-off with oxygen r2 h-boot table and I'm running oxygen 2.3.2 rom
And I decided it was time for a change and decided to flash a the latest dgb release and h-boot to get the full benefit of the rom.
So here is what I did.
Downloaded the rom and relevant h-boot table ans checked the md5 to ensure the download correct.
I wiped all user data
Used android flasher to flash the h-boot which worked fine and then tried to flash the rom
However when I booted into recovery I had the error in the title of this thread or something similar. (Cache : recovery file)
So I reflashed my h-boot back to the oxygen r2 table and used my nand recovery to get me back working.
So any ideas what went wrong and how I can avoid next time as I really want to try the rom and h-boot and I'm pretty sure I have just done something simple wrong
As I could still get to recovery and bootloader I knew the problem was not that large. But the first time something does not quite go to plan panic sets in so any advice is greatly welcomed.
Thanks
