***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Stumbled across this thread a few days ago and have lurked since. OG Droid is on life support and in reference to a post asking for method of disposal, I was thinking Remington 870 + buckshot from about 10 yards

Just called 3 separate corporate stores in my area. All 3 CSR's used identical canned replies: "We don't know when it's coming out, we haven't been given a date" I asked for at least a ballpark time frame, they didn't bite. Great coaching.

since i am grandfathered into unlimited, i would choose the 16 if it were 199 and the 32 was 299. i could use the cloud at will and not be concerned about going over backing up my pics/vids or using google music. if i didnt have unlimited, i would consider the 32 more heavily as to have more local storage for these items

this is a good point, if the potential 16 GB version was 50 or more dollars cheaper I would definitely get that instead

Pretty sure the 16 GB will be $299. Not entirely sure though, so don't count on that.

Every smartphone that Verizon has right now that is 299 is 32 GB, whether it is onboard, via included microSD, or a combination of both. No way they will charge 299 for a 16GB.

Now I have to check the stores every day until Monday? Geeez, we have work to do over Turkey Day...

no chance. every other big time phone verizon sells(include fruit and razr and rezound) are all 32gb at 299, they wouldnt price this phone at 200 with only 16gb of internal storage

Since my store pretty much guaranteed they'd have it on Monday and I'm well-known by the employees I'm counting on them saving me one haha. Probably gonna visit the store on Sunday and ask for it since I can't pick it up during a school day

Well the GNex is definitely a premium phone, even more so than the iPhone I think. But we'll just have to wait and see on Monday, and like I said I was just making a guess and I have no proof of the price.

Just spoke with the Mgr at the Pine Ridge (Naples, FL) store. No clues as to when it might be available, no promo gear and no training info. She seemed sincere and when I told her it was a 90 mile drive to get to the store, she checked on-line for info - none to be had.

Not sure whether that means anything but I guess, take it FWIW.

I've been around awhile, but haven't had much to say... but, cannot wait to get the nexus in my hands. I tried the bionic & took it back within a week due to hardware problems.

So....the much awaited charts.

First a simple polynomial fit, order 9 (i.e. a+bx+cx^2.....jx^8+kx^9). This fit describes out current trends well, but has illogical results at low times. Thus, although we could use this model if we give it time bounds, we cannot use it to describe the whole thread.

Now, both a power fit and an exponential. Both are ok. We had a slowdown that you can see that make both of these fits not good, but still the best for description of the whole thread since post#1.

I remember growing up in FL. Some areas it's a half-hour drive to the "local" supermarket. I feel your pain.

But for reference, I think I have 8 corporate stores in a 5 mile radius from myself.

The Google specs page shows 16/32GB for the LTE model.

However, most sources have indicated 32GB.

Which leads to an interesting question. If you had the choice of 16GB available Monday, or would have to wait a week for the 32GB model, what would you choose?
