***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

I guess it's safe to say that if the phones don't come in today they won't have them for monday? They probably won't get them on a sunday, no deliveries, and it would be tough to get them to every store monday morning before they open. Unless they do a web release on monday, I can't see having one in my hands then.

I saw a post several pages back (edit: here) from someone who called a local VZW store and spoke to the manager, who said that the phones were there but not allowed to be released yet. Could be a possibility, I saw something in a blog a few days ago about GNex shipments; perhaps they've already been sent.

Sorry to be a downer guys, but the 21st is NOT happening (for a general release. It may indeed be the day pre-orders open up). I promise. If we put aside for a second what we WANT to be true and just look at the facts, its Friday the 18th and not only has there been no official announcements of a release on the 21st, but no leaks either (discounting a couple anonymous sources who have also said it is "subject to change"). Might as well just start mentally preparing for a later date.

Oh that was back in the sch-i760 days. I didn't know much then. If you think Verizon employees know nothing now they were even worse back then. After I got the i760 Google search became my friend since it took me months of research to figure out the whole WinMobile world.

From there I went to a blackberry then finally my Dinc. Now almost all of my information comes from these forums. I'll never go back to asking reps about anything (maybe occasionally just because I'm curious to see how much they know).

Am I the only one that sees new articles on android-related blogs and go to read them excitedly, only to be let down when it's not Nexus LTE release date-related? Even more frustrating when it actually mentions the keywords 'Samsung' or 'Galaxy' and the article isn't even about the Nexus.

And my OG Droid rebooted 3 times yesterday and needed 2 battery pulls between last night and this morning. other than yesterday and today, it's had a relatively good past week though... tick tock, tick tock.

I'm pretty sure that was clarified to be about phone ACCESSORIES and not the phones themselves.
