My OG got soaked a long time ago, but I used my mom's NE2 to get the Droid 2 (score!)... but unfortunately in my line of work (high school special education!) it was stolen. No offense to anyone on this board that may work at VZW...

But most of the salespeople I have come across at Verizon stores are idiots and have basically no idea what they are talking about. Most of the time a reasonably informed customer, I would assume most of us posting are reasonably informed, knows more about the phones than the salesperson.

Well just think about it really. They're only car salesmen. They know just enough information to hopefully get them the sale. A salesman doesn't need to know what how to rebuild a transmission to sell a car...that's what the grease monkeys like myself are in the back are for ;-)

Nexaholics, please help a brother out.... For the past two nights I have neglected my wife and spent hours on this damn thread (past midnight) of hope that I might be able to pre order my crackoid. She just sent me a text asking if I ordered "the damn thing". How should I reply to an uninformed, uninfected, pure human that uses an iPhone?

Tell her that it has not yet HOWEVER if she will just have patience until the release you will make it up to her with her favorite: (insert whatever makes her the happiest)

I'm not just talking about the GNEX, I'm talking about phones they are already selling, they should really be "in the know" for a Bionic or RAZR.

I'm am so close to just saying screw it and getting a Rezound. The one advantage to me is the SD card slot. I have a 32GB card full of music.

I would do the same -- except for the fact that the Rezound (stupid name, btw) is on Gingerbread AND has 'Sense' (which, personally, I like to think of by the more accurate label "non-Sense") -- not to mention that the Rezound is a THICK phone. But, really, the software is the main drawback. Not to mention, what will be continual delays in software updates, thanks to HTC/Sense. But -- the screen looks GORGEOUS!

That's where I got it from. It requires less classes where you have to stand up and talk to a circle of people.

Just got off the phone with CSR who was really nice, but unable to help. She said they are so secretive that they found out about the iPhone, the day they started selling the iPhone. She did say "soon", but when I reminded her they said "soon" back in August when they passed on the GSII, she said, "I know, but I doubt it will be long." She really was trying to help, but they just don't tell them anything either.
