My BB had a cool feature that I have not found in the Eris yet. It would automatically recognize phone numbers in emails. It turned them into a link. When you clicked it, it would dial the number. Saves you from having to remember it or copy/paste into phone app.

Anyone found a way to do this?

CopyNDial will help you dial a number from email, website, notes, sms messsages.... check it out. I'm using it. it works on htc desire! In emails, simple copy the whole email in settings.copyText then trim the text

Yes. In gmail, if you tap on something that looks like a phone number in a message, though it is not a link, it will highlight and then open the dialer with the phone number entered.

Try it.
