Just wondering, because you are very quick to call out other rumors as unreliable, but if your source is so reliable how come you were wrong about

A) the phone being available on 11/18
B) the preorder happening today

I never promised the preorder would happen today. My source said it's a possibility but he wasn't entirely sure about preorders, or if they would even happen.
I also never said the phone would be available on 11/18, my SOURCE said that but she probably got something mixed up and I just went along with it because there were no other reasons it couldn't be released on this date.

Well I have no idea how reliable their sources are, but I trust this guy so much, I wouldn't doubt his prediction even the slightest. Plus he's a great guy and isn't lying to try to sell me on something.

I'm sure he is telling you what he knows he has heard. Not his fault... VZW's poor communication and constantly changing their mind.

Well then what makes the others' sources' info any more reliable? If it's all just internal corporate mumble then not a single person REALLY knows for sure

Here is my prediction with the rumors of next week and the december 8th floating around as well. Might release the 16gb version next week to get the device out before black friday and screw everyone with $299 price for only 16gb. Then Dec 8th they rollout the 32gb model and drop the 16gb model price. Would explain why the google site said 16/32 first and now just 16. Notice too that the UK site initially said 16 only and now it says 16/32. Might do the same thing in the UK.

One flaw in that plan though. We'd all be in their extended return window. Guess what everyone would be doing with their overpriced 16GB SGN? Yep Verizon would be slammed with returns.

I was told with a very confident voice over the phone, not a screencap. But my point is that those screencaps could very well just be mocked up in MS Word. Hell I could have taken a picture of a picture of a document like that and it would be legit! Sometimes I don't get why people choose to believe some things and not others...

Yeah I think I'm gonna take a little break from the thread too. Its been pretty manic over the last couple of weeks and it has taken a toll on my productivity and my sanity lol.

If it happens next week, I will be a happy camper. If its December 8th, I'll be a happy camper then. And hanging with you guys is a lot of fun.

But right now, as far as Verizon is concerned, as a customer for 10+ years, they can suck it. This will probably be the last phone I buy from them anyway.

I don't need this phone. I want it, but I don't need it. Ill check back in on Monday to see if there are any new developments.

P3 I trust about as far as I can throw him, BMX hasn't said anything to indicate a delay to Dec 8th and we have about a dozen VZW employees pointing to next week (frankly, I trust the info Han's sister is getting over and above any store managers). Only credible source so far for the Dec 8th rumor to me is Phil.. and he's stating it may come sooner.

I think at the latest, we'll see it on the Nov 28th.

IMPORTANT NEWS!

Just got off the phone with my local Verizon store's manager.

I said I had been reading up online regarding the release date and he said that it will be available to pre-order tomorrow and they will have them IN-STORE on Monday. He's an extremely trusted source, accurately confirming the Incredible and Thunderbolt release dates before Verizon announced them, so I trust his word on this. Just to add to the confirmation of these dates! I AM EXCITED BEYOND BELIEF

BTW this whole GNex anticipation has gotten in the way of my schoolwork lol. I haven't done my homework for a few nights because I simply can't stop updating reddit/this thread regarding new information o.o

Guys this is it! Monday is the day! There is absolutely no chance of ALL of these sources being wrong... especially since it's too close to the release date to be unexpectedly delayed. And the fact that we were getting lots of various dates before today is further proof that Verizon has finally decided a release date and it will happen on Monday!

Ok so I was wrong with a rumor that I said before anyone else was even getting any reports at all... I don't see why people are all up in my grill about it, I didn't wrong them in any way whatsoever! At this point, I don't trust any of the "credible" sources as far as the release date goes. None of them have offered any solid leads on the release dates.

We've seen very dubious screen caps that say 12/8, the most probable of them appears to be an advertising campaign one rather than a release.. and it's still on the shaky side.

Show me one that says the Galaxy Nexus (not the Samsung Nexus) is going to be released on the 8th and I'll grudgingly admit it might be a possibility.. but as of now, the 21st has as much validity as the 8th (actually more imo, your opinion may be different).

Regardless of the release date, this'll be my next phone. Just gives me more time to remember why I'll never go Moto again with my DX if I have to wait.
