All this speculation on why Verizon hasn't released the phone is good and all but there are things we can actually do if we want it in our hands sooner. I've seen like 1k+ posts on speculation of who is to blame etc. If we could get at least that many emails to Verizon actually expressing our concerns I'm sure we could move mountains.

Edit: we may not move the release date up or anything, but we could get some solid info which is what most of us are really peeved about anyways

This is exactly the thing NOT to do. No amount of emails will make this phone come sooner.

Everyone is free to do what they feel is best, but understand you do not represent AF when you do it.

On a side not just to share how stupid Verizon csrs are. I talked to one tonight on the phone regarding my wife's bionic and the dipshit told me it wasn't under warranty but I could use my upgrade to get another phone since we were having problems. I corrected him once and he was like sorry but it's not under warranty at that point I asked for a supervisor. The next person resolved my issue and is sending a new bionic to me for the bug ridden pile of poo bionic.

And then there are the most helpful ones that are awesome, and give you early upgrades, and other goodies. I always just hang up and try again when I get something like that. Usually have better luck.

It's called being optimistic/joking. I don't have a nexus, but I'm hoping the verizon one comes on Monday.

I canceled my ebay purchased for the unlocked one. Just can't justify spending $800 and switching carriers when the verizon one should be here very soon.

Didn't see you cancelled your ebay order. Thought your mind was made up.

Me neither...and I sent two letters to two different people. I must not be as good a writer/bullshi**er as Han ;)

True. Just like in any profession, there are good people and bad. Let's not lump all Verizon CSRs as bad.

Totally understand :). I also acknowledge emails may not make this phone come sooner, but it may influence Verizon into giving us some solid info (maybe a release date, reason for delay etc). IMO the contact page on verizon is there for us to express concerns. I don't have any qualms about flooding their email or FB because that's what they are there for. We keep the company in business, and we should make sure they know exactly what we want. But yeah, each individual's email should only express their concerns, and does not speak for the whole of AF.

Looking at Amazon...

You can get the Rezound there for $199.99. Wonder if, when the GN is released, you'll be able to get it for a $100 discount there as well?

I don't know, just thought that was interesting that there is that much of a gap.

Does anyone know if you can return an Amazon phone to a corporate store?
