Root Optimus v bootloop

Hi, I have an Optimus v with CWM recovery running BACKside rom 110211 build. One day my phone completely died and I didn't charge it for a while. Now when I plug the phone in its stuck at the lg logo flashing on and off forever and never charges. I charged the battery with someone elses phone but when I try to turn it on its still stuck so i gotta pull the batt. I also tryed every button combo possible to get into the recovery and no luck. Any advice? Thanks a lot in advance

if you want to try something different, you can try to boot it into emergency mode, then pull the battery for a couple minutes to reset out of emergency mode and try powering up again.
it's hard to do, needs finesse or an extra hand.
Like booting into recovery, but press back instead of home, and plug in the power or usb cord at exactly the same time as pressing power. I think it charges in emergency mode but never did verify that.

hm, weird.
no, I've not heard of that one.
wish there was flashable firmware, if there was you could reflash the whole system back to stock in emergency mode. but, no love unless you have an optimus S or p500 or something else non-VM. they asked LG to cripple the firmware download. Same problem for the LG VM510 (rumor touch), crippled firmware download where the same model on sprint has flashable firmware for download from LG.

I've read a few people say they had to use vol up+home+power to get into recovery, you could try that. or for funsies you could try vol dn+menu+power (that was the recovery key combo after I flashed sprint firmware to partially ressurect my dead-as-yours OV which has since been flashed to total lack of functionality)
and, by the way, sprint firmware will permanently kill your cell data service and MMS, if you decide to go that way (which I can't recommend)
