That PDF someone linked to on Android Central describe the double data plan does *not* say it will last until January 15. It says the 300MB plan is available until January 15. I would trust Amazon on this one.

This is what I am going with too, If the Nex isnt out before then, I will just get the Rez, and hope it comes out before the holiday return policy expires. For me, the Data promo is most important atm. Im coming from like the first android ever... anything will be a HUGE upgrade for me. 730mhz ROOTED!

I know what you mean... that 0.02 second delay is a DEAL BREAKER! It's pretty much the most important smart phone feature.

And iPhones have "live wallpapers" ?? I think if you have a normal wallpaper then there will be zero lag switching between them from what I've seen.

I really really do not want to rent a device. As a family member of several business owners I feel for any company this happens too. I would feel like such a slug making a new phone a used one with the premeditated intent of shoving it into them for a loss.

it is so unbelievably annoying.....it really is and the screen re draws when i exit applications. It just seems so unnecessary to me. and its been doing it all along in android and the home screens haven't gotten any more detailed really....i mean some more widgets yea and if you don't use live wallpapers it still does it.....wtf gives

2) What's this about lag on the homescreen with live wallpapers? Almost ever demo we've seen with the Nexus is with that light bluish live wallpaper and it's been perfect. I'm slightly skeptical of the lag reports, but obviously we'll have to wait until we get the thing in our paws.

December 8th. I'm not sure why everyone is in denial, and thinks Verizon will stealth launch it today or this week.

I'm not in denial, nor do I think most people here think it's going to launch this week. Beyond that though, it's still speculation whether the phone will be out the week after that, the week after that etc.

Dec 8th is hardly set in stone in my opinion, but I'm not optimistic it's going to be out much sooner.
