Street names are still shown on the map, along with the name of the state. It only takes about 20 seconds of searching on Google Maps to find the place.

Keep in mind Charge is still their last generation phone SGS with LTE added where most of those issue came. Sammy addressed those issues in Nexus S and SGSII. They no longer have GPS, radio issues like original SGS had.

We need to see what Sammy does with their latest LTE radio. That's honestly my biggest concern. So many of these LTE devices have so much trouble locking & holding on to the LTE signal. When that happens, there goes your battery life.

For what it's worth, I stopped into my local VZW store yesterday to scope things out. While I was checking out the RAZR and REZOUND, a salesman asked if I had any questions. I asked if he had heard anything about the GNEX release, and he smirked and kind of nodded. After stateing that he and a few other employees were equally stoked about the GNEX, he said that the delays were due to hardware issues, the latest of which had to do with the volume cutting out on calls. He reiterated that there is still no solid release date, as if to say "don't hold your breath".
He then sang the praises of the REZOUND over the RAZR (better camera, better screen, $100 earbuds).
Just thought I'd share.

Smart salesman. I love my rezound. I hope to exchange for nexus, but if not, Ill be happy with rz for a year or so... It'd millllllles above my ex, droid charge.

From what I've been reading it sounds like the fast shutter speed is mostly from software and not hardware. Given that people really like the Rezound's camera (apparently it's the same as the myTouch 4g slide's?), I wonder, will it surpass that of the GNex once it gets ICS?

I don't think it's entirely by software. 5MP will be writing faster to memory as files are smaller. Also lower pixel density is better for low lighting condition.

I wouldn't say noticeably thicker - it is 0.5 mm. I think the color is what is making you think it is so much bigger, because it is darker.

Just to help out a dime is 1.35mm thick.

I was in verizon today and put the op of this thread on every bionic, rezound ,& razr I got my hands on. Not sure why, but I was amused when every clueless customer and employee picked one up. I overhheard an old lady ask" what's this samsung? " as she played with a rezound. "Um, we don't carry that one ma'am "

I wasn't overly impressed by either one by the way. Just want my nexus

Good review, thanks for sharing! I think this app will help your Mac recognize the phone. Will you try it out and see if it works? As a fellow Mac owner, I'm hoping that this will be a fix for the lack of USB Mass Storage.

The best part about the whole deal is that VZW gave me $162 for my charge! I was shocked. When I tried buy back on their site, it had only offered me $70. . I took that $162 and RAN.
