Well, I'm not sure if this is my phone, My ROM, or the App I'm using.
However, When using the Flashlight app on a Droid 3, For a very odd reason, the LED will heat up to a point to begin to melt the Plastic.

Has anyone else been unfortunate to experience this?

A note, I have had the FlashLight app on for long times and while the LED does get somewhat warm, it's never melted it self. (I was on stock at the Time)

Phone: Droid 3
Carrier: Verizon Wireless
ROM: CM7

(Forgive me, As i know this isn't the root section yet I do post Root Specific details)

Just wondering, but there are plenty of Flashlight apps out there. Which one? and have/or did you make a CWM backup of your stock rom? If you did, backup your current rom and move back to the stock rom and see if it still heats up.

Once I turned off flashlight app, and after some minutes started heating my pocket, and battery lost 2/3 ...
Very dangerous app, only use on emergency.
