Hans, I turn 32 on 2/10, when are you up for the three-two?

Since I turned 30, it feels like the last nearly two years has flown by, which has been much worse than actually turning 30 :(

It's crazy how time moves... Except for when you are waiting for a Nexus, haha. I had my daughter when I was thirty and it is like I hit a fast forward button on my life. She is the most beautiful five year old (takes after her mommy that way) now and acts like she could be going on 20. Time is precious.

Alas, I've gone renegade Steven. Or apostate, given how cultish we've become here. The Rezound's $50 bargain price called my name, and I was powerless to resist.
Sort of like a sea siren, unfortunately not like a succubus.

It's a good phone! Enjoy it! :)

This is why I love my store so much. All of them are genuinely interested in the phones their selling, my rep and I talked over the pros and cons of waiting on the Nexus versus buying a Rezound/RAZR and pretty much convinced each other to wait.

See I knew someone had good reps somewhere =) Last time I was in the corporate store closest to my work was around two months ago and it seemed like they were training a ton of new people. Hopefully some of them have caught on!

Post back with impressions. Be nice to see an unbiased look at it, something that is really hard to find in the Rezound forum here.

[Hide]Though definitely not as hard as finding an unbiased RAZR impression in the RAZR forum haha.[/Hide]

LOL, yeah that's my project for the night. I'm thinking Knife-in-GNex-back, 'cept I'm not that graphically creative. Admittedly Rezound is a dumb name, can't think how to play on that.

Off topic
maybe shadow the N in GNex over the android's head with knife in the top and htc above it. Just a thought

On topic: I don't really have anything. Ha!

Time passes progressively faster as you get older. Art Bell coined the term and wrote a book about this phenomena. He called it The Quickening.

Now, every week, month and year just flies by for me. Thus, I have been waiting for the GNex for 6 years.......

Will do! You know, the weirdest thing was that I was actually perfectly fine w/the RAZR screen at the store, even after all of my hyperventilating about how PenTile will only make sense at HD resolution. There is no substitute for holding the phone in your own hands and seeing it with your own eyes.

The Nexus is still my emotional first choice (lord knows I've been obsessed enough discovering all there is to know about it), but right now I can really use an extra $250 for bills, and the Rezound is overall a superb phone. Who knows, come January if things are looking up and y'all are in heaven with your GNexi, I may find some way to manage a tradeup. :)

Oh. Sheesh reading all these code words makes me feel like I'm 70, and I'm just turning 32 in a couple of months.

And so you want someone to stalk you? Like crazy stalking? Leaving rose petals on your bed and hiding in your closet until you're asleep, and then he comes out and stands over you and watches?

That's not a good desire to have, sorry. That can backfire big time.

Lol. Gawd I feel old now. I thought you were older. I've got ya by over a year. :(

Not crazy stalk, more of secret admirer stalk. Lol.

I just turned 34 and I for some reason I thought both of you were older than me.:p:D

It may be because I am young at heart.... or just occasionally immature. :p

Seriously man. Before I found this thread, my wait for the SGN seemed much more bearable. After I got hooked on this thread, the wait seemed to slow to a crawl. I've learned a lot though. It wasn't until this thread that I learned that I've been spoiled with the OG Droid and it's unlockable bootloader. I didn't flash a custom ROM until I started following this thread.

As for kids, yeah, they're definitely a fast forward button. My girls are 3 years old and 18 months. If you've only got one, you should see how the second one makes you feel. I put her on the changing table, and she was SOOO freaking big after handling a newborn for a few days.

Wow, we're getting personal now. I'm just getting my usual holiday drink going on ;)

Thirties are great years! Wait till you turn 40 be prepared :D

I've already decided I'm not turning 40 ;)

I've heard people talking about buying from Costco a lot recently. My nearest Costco is pretty far away, but can someone tell me why I would want to go there to buy instead of, say, online or at a VZW store? (not taking gapi's friend's experience into consideration)
Because Costco usually has bundles for the premium smartphones. The Razr has comes with an HDMI Cable, a High Definition Desktop Dock and a Portable Battery Charger. It is included for free, this is for $199 with the phone.

I didn't have any trouble with its display either. I also have possibly the worst eyesight in the world, or it could have been that I was perfectly content with my PenTile display on the Inc's amoled.

[Hide]I'm not going to be listening to anything cereal killer posts in here again, he does not miss a chance to bash on any other phone but the RAZR when in the RAZR forum. He's gone full-on fanboi[/Hide]
