will usa be the same ?

In my first post I said iv been following the forum for ages, don't hate on me,I'm not newsradio, give me a break, jees, let me breathe please. Nashdroid your paranoid,

Why are you fixated on me? I've made two posts in reference to you, everyone else has been calling you out as Newsradio2261 for this entire page of this thread. Why the fixation on me so quick? Oh...I know why... Your typing style and overuse of commas gives you away. Example: you guys will all know i'm right, just wait and see, I officially gave the news to you all first, amazing phone, small chin, inner circle,advanced...just wait and see, you will all know soon...

Dude, you have TOTALLY given yourself away. Just admit it. You obviously and blatantly have broken the forum rules again. This is getting so pathetic. Now look how off topic this thread is, and all because of you and your ridiculousness.

not saying i believed him but..... he was right in saying it does have a slight chin.......
True.
he also said it wouldnt have physical buttons
He must have had the Bravo confused with the newly announced Touch HD Mini
gsmarena_003.jpg

He kept saying the "Bravo" would look like the Touch HD. He was right about a new phone looking like the touch HD but ultimately he offered up at least as much misinformation as real tips due to his misunderstanding of what he saw. I certainly was not a fan of him but in the end he was really harmless and some people just had way too much of an emotional reaction to his comments. This is just a phone forum and none of us are using our real names. This is not serious business.

hey mods, can we get a thread close/delete? this thing is hopelessly off-topic with no hope of coming back...and newsradio's crap doesn't need to scare off other readers

LOL, that goofball was half the reason I kept coming back to read threads! My friend has his contract ending soon, and is looking for a sweet phone that will be better than my iPhone (and I think these Android OS phones can do that), and I'd start every workday with a "So, what di Newsradio say this time?" So finally decided to join up.

As for the original topic, I don't fully understand why the Desire isn't going to be offered in the States, seems like a great phone that people want. Only thing I can guess is that Google made a deal with HTC to not sell anything over here that's a direct competetor for the Nexus One in exchange for building the N1 for them. I know, new guy with a conspiricy theory, but that's just me brainstorming, no Breaking News here!

Pretty good theory for the "new guy". I remember Google restricting the export of the N1 and making a curiously big deal about it. Why should Google care. Maybe this is why.

So...let me get this straight... You always came on here because you wanted to see what Newsradio would say next, and his user name has been banned for awhile now. Then he has the alias Dreamangelzz, which we all found out was him just yesterday, and he gets banned from that account, and then the very next day you decide to become a contributing member of this forum? That's very interesting... Glad to see you're such a Newsradio fan, even though in your very first post in another thread you said that you think this forum will be better without Newsradio because it will be less news-to-noise ratio and you also volunteer that we all have nothing to worry about because you're not a trouble maker? Why would you volunteer that you're not a trouble maker? I think we would all assume that you're a nice guy and just a regular contributing member just like most everyone else in this forum. For a guy that thinks that Newsradio is "noise" it's hard to believe that you've mentioned him in 100% of your (2) posts in Android Forums so far, which were both posted today.

ur obsession with everything "newsradio" related. he's gone. let him and the headaches stay gone.

Let me guess...you thought he was "gone" after the user name Newsradio2261 was banned, didn't you? Well, he has had two other names since then, which were both banned yesterday. Trust me, he's not gone. "You heard it here first!" That signature from a brand new member? Come on man...open your eyes!

I like laughing at idiots, and I found him entertaining. You can think I'm him all you want, it really doesn't bother me. And I brought up the "not a trouble maker" in my introduction thread because, well, I was introducing myself and just wanted to say I know how to behave myself. Not trying to rub any raw wounds. If you want the mods to check me out, or they want to, feel free, I have nothing to hide. I don't work in the industry (I work at Intel in Oregon), and I'm here to learn about the new Android OS phones that are coming up, I have no "contacts", and won't be coming in here with insider info.

Anyways, back to the original topic.... It's true, they haven't said we won't get the Desire in the States, and my thought that it might have something to do with a deal with Google wasn't meant to say that we WON'T get it here, but if we do get it, it will probably be later. It's not unheard of for companies to do this kind of things. And since Google had HTC build the N1, I can see them not wanting HTC to make their own phone that would be a direct competitor. All I can say is I'm glad my iPhone contract doesn't run out until Summer 2011, that should be enough time for Android phones to get a solid foothold and work out a lot of this stuff. Of course, there is always something new coming up around the corner, but there will be a much bigger selection of knowns by then!

I want to TOTALLY apologize to you. I jumped the gun and made an assumption and that was wrong of me. I just want to make it public that I was wrong and I'm sorry I was skeptical of you. I hope you can accept my sincerest apology. Welcome to the forums.

No problem. Like I said, I have been reading the forums over my buddies (evilotto) shoulder at work, and then jumped on a couple times at home, and I saw how you and FoolsRadio got along, and then with his 2 other duplicate accounts, I can't blame you for being skeptical. So no worries, I'm just glad I didn't go with NotNewsRadio for my user name like I thought about doing, LOL! But I knew I would regret that quick, then be bored with it later, and eventually not many people would even get the joke, so I just went with my normal screen name that I use on several other accounts, PSN, iTunes, Twitter, Geocaching... well, you get the picture! If you're curious, hrethgir comes from the Dune prequel books by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, it was the Thinking Machines term for free, or "feral", humans. Anyways, it's getting late, and I have stuff to do tomorrow, so I'm out, peace! Between the Olympics and the internet, I'm barely getting any sleep anymore!
