OTA update just recieved. Does anyone know what it was for?

OK - So what am I doing wrong?

After the update was installed, the phone gyrated a number of times and went through numerous re-boots before settling down. At that time I noticed that I had lost my Wi-Fi home connection as well as Bluetooth was turned off. After fiddling around in Settings, I was able to get reconnected to my home Wi-Fi. I then tried to turn on Bluetooth at which time the phone started to gyrate and attempt numerous boots again. This lasted for about 10 minutes before steeling down. Again my Wi-Fi ended up disconnected. Trying to reconnect to Bluetooth repeated the multiple booting process. This action happens whenever the phone is turned off and then on again. Removing and re-installing the battery does not help.

I've been trying every day since the 23rd, I've even called Samsung and AT& T. They say to keep waiting and trying, it's coming. There is a problem with the notification sounders, if you change away from 'sherbet' in settings, it will default to 'whistle'. You have to go into messages and change your notification Sounder in there as well to make it work. They are not tied together, I was told by both Samsung and AT&T that this fix is part of the update.
