Based on what is known about the Droid 4 at this point - is anyone tempted by it?

Other than the physical keyboard, I don't know what is special about it. I haven't used my OG's keyboard since the first week I had the phone, so I don't see any reason to be excited. Thoughts?

I'll use my keyboard every now and then on my OG but im not the least bit interested in having a phone with blur.

I give you - The Thankian Chronicles3vil - the willpower and determination you showed on this were truly impressive.

Yes - this is a new record for the site, I've made note of it for staff.

While some may feel this devalues thanks, world records come in many flavors. Some for great skill, some for great strength, some for great silliness, some for great danger - and some for sheer stamina.

You qualify on a number of levels.

When I get over being quite literally stunned, color me impressed.

And LMAO - seriously.

3vil - congrats on your record!

PS - 3vil is a professional, please don't try this at home!

Stopped by Best Buy on an errand today, took a quick peek at the Rezound and some Galaxy SIIs. Gorgeous phones all, but it just made me more excited about the GNex. I wasn't even tempted.

Also, didn't have much time to play because my 3 y/o was running amok.

Why didnt you just hand him a Iphone4s....That would have kept him busy for a minute or two.Just wash his hands afterwards.

Nice to see one of our own get such a nice record like that!

You don't actually think that I manually thanked everybody do you?

Oh no!

A wave of shock and scandal rocks the Gnex thread!

Was 3vil using Performance Enhancing Scripts?

Gapi will be launching a full-scale investigation on this. If he finds any proof of PES usage, with involvement of either 3vil or Early, you can bet I'll be prosecuting the crap out of both of them!

OK for all you OG Droiders in here I'm thinking of flashing a new Rom in my Droid (hoping to clear up a couple issues I've been having the last few days) I've tried many Roms but anyone have a suggestion of what to try.

I was on Droid Concepts for a while but Peter Alfonso just came out with a new version of BB for the OD and so I'm trying that (again). I like it and I think I'm going to stick with it until I get my Gnex.. if I ever do.

Maybe someone can clarify this for me. ICS is the first android firmware to allow use of both cores, correct? The rezound and S2 aren't very far behind the nexus in speed from what I've read, even though they are on gingerbread. Does that mean when they are able to use both cores, on ICS, they'll potentially be faster than the nexus?

Not necessarily. Remember other phones like SGS2, Rezound, Razr have heavy UI skin on top of stock android. So having ICS and UI skin might result in slower performance than Gnex.
