The Rezound display is LCD with no pentile subpixels. GNex has pentile subpixel arrangement in SAMOLED tech. Both are 720p resolution.
The Rezound display will show more accurate colors and have less banding in some areas, along with generally sharper text. The GNex will have unmatched contrast, albeit with less color accuracy (produces a vibrant display that most perfer). It should also be more visible outdoors. Although at HD resolutions, any such differences should be fairly minor.
All else equal, I'd have to honestly say I'd prefer the display tech on the Rezound. Not even the tiniest decision maker, by any means. But if I did have my choice......I would most likely pick LCD.
I'm on the fence in regards to more vibrant displays -- it's a huge problem for watching movies. Theres an article I can't seem to find again which shows how Inception was SUPPOSED to look and did look in theaters vs how most HD TVs make it look. It's awful what overly vivid screens do to most movies. Everything looks like Transformers - in a bad way. If the Razr had a form factor I liked, was vanilla and ICS, there would be no contest. I would take the more accurate colors hands down... but then again, I do make movies for a living so I'm picky!
Edit: Oh but I meant to say I do like it being extra vivid for games and general phone use.
