Interesting... Another person replied earlier and stated that it could be done and that they had done it in the past. Hmmm...

I was on the phone with the Verizon rep asking a bunch of questions and threw that one in as I read it. She was very clear on her answer,Fwiw.

Does anyone know the exact size of the screen with the software buttons showing? I'm hoping larger than 4.3" but I have a feeling it will be about that....

IMHO, I would rather have capacitive buttons (and the full screen) We will have to wait and see I guess. If we do not hear anything soon I am buying an unlocked version and jumping the VZW train. I would rather not but I want a pure Nexus Device and VZW is really rubbing me the wrong way with this whole thing.

I am not consumed by this phone or thread as I hit and run between surveillance assignments but......... When I have been logged in..............

I have gone from Enthusiastic and Excited, to Disappointed but faithfully Optimistic, to Manic, to Numb = which is my current state.

If a post starts with "If", or "I think" or "I believe", or is Long Winded being over 8 lines of text or has a video I just move on by.

I just wait and scroll looking for the final word........

For those that post stuff from Twitter, please at least put what the tweet contains in quotations. Twitter is blocked at work for most of us. A link to the tweet does us no good.

As far as what phone I would buy in Q1 2012...I don't know because they haven't been released or announced yet. Do you honestly think they're going to announce phones that are coming in Q1 when they won't even announce when phones are coming in Q4 of 2011? There's already a new HTC in the works that we know of that will release in Q1. I'm sure Samsung will have an offering in the early part of 2012 as well. If they are with different carriers...well, I might have to consider that.
