I am not consumed by this phone or thread as I hit and run between surveillance assignments but......... When I have been logged in..............

I have gone from Enthusiastic and Excited, to Disappointed but faithfully Optimistic, to Manic, to Numb = which is my current state.

If a post starts with "If", or "I think" or "I believe", or is Long Winded being over 8 lines of text or has a video I just move on by.

I just wait and scroll looking for the final word........

Just make sure your file of BB's avatar pics doesn't get mixed in with your case files ;)

Semi lurk mode activated, scoping out the troop movements. Anything new? Thanks in advance. Reactivating lurking mode.

sounds military.

A slight jab at Verizon from Samsung?

Twitter

Jab at Apple. Goes in line with their commerical.

Gah. If there is one phone that tempts me away from Verizon and the Nexus, it's probably this one:

AT&T announces the LG Nitro HD with 720p display and LTE - Android Central

Supposedly the IPS HD screen technology is amazing. Even though it's only 4 GB internal storage, it does have SD card support.

That's the problem with phone delays. You get into the next generation with higher specs. I assume the processor being 1.5 is higher? Although, not necessarily, I know.

Nothing new but my Verizon rep sent me this, she said she got this announcement this morning.

VZW is excited about the recent announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Verizon Wireless will carry the device and expects to launch it later this year. Features include:
• The latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System
• Google + with group video calling
• 4.65" HD Super AMOLED display
• Slim and curved design
And, all on America's Fastest and Most Reliable 4G LTE network!

I don't know...I have a Dinc and have been following all the Android updating drama over the last 1.5 years or so. I don't really care if the nexus comes out in March 2012 it's really the only Android phone I can see myself upgrading to.

I like getting all the newest operating systems features and don't want to be stuck waiting 6 months plus for updates that end up being buggy.

I've learned from my own Dinc updating debacles and from others who wait and wait and wait and wait.

My bottom line choice IS: Nexus or NO Android. Rooting is not my thing so that is not a viable option for me.

Just my two cents.

Good to hear, but Verizon gave this announcement back in October.

Yet another nice LTE phone by AT&T and their promises to get LTE in so many more cities in the very near future. No VZN is not listening to us but they are listening to this news. I love American capitalism at it's finest because news like this is what makes VZN take note and action. BAM!

That's basically an LG RezoundT. It also has a 720p IPS display, LTE, and even more on-board storage. Plus with VZW, you get much better LTE coverage.
An LG RezoundT? You did see that the Best Buy ad was incorrect, right? The Rezound is made by HTC.

Also, it's possible that I don't know enough about displays, but the Rezound's is a super LCD, whereas the Nitro has LG's AH-IPS (Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching) technology; no Pentile matrix, and reportedly less energy-draining.

I like how they keep hammering at the time frame being "later this year". Uh guys, you really only have one month left. Why can't you change those generic announcements and bullet points to something more specific like "next month" or "December".

I know, I know...it's basically a canned message.
