***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

And to add to the irony, there is no awesome white stuff on the ground in minnesnowless and none in the forecast:mad:

I probably will have the Nexus in my hands before it snows. Unfortunately I have neither right now...sigh.

Count me among the snow lovers. Though I am amazed every year at the number of Chicagoans who seem to forget they live in an area that experiences all four of the seasons. The first snowfall every year, now matter how little, always causes chaos.

They aren't going to take away peoples unlimited data. You just won't be able to get unlimited data anymore on contracts executed after March (which is a speculative date but just being used as reference).

"3: Coming in March, unlimited data will be no longer grandfathered to those that upgrade their contract or make any plan changes."

WE ARE MERELY SPECULATING ON A SPECULATION. laughable when you think about it. Ill just cross that bridge when I get to it.

geeeeez. I mean, i know we are only ~a week away from the Dec 8 date, but time seems to be crawling.

I'm ready to show people people why Android > iOS

Ya know, I'm about tired of fighting the fight. I hate hate hate Apple. Or it did when I bought my Dinc.

The longer this takes, the more I question my sanity. My drop dead date for the Gnex is December 8th. If it's not here, I'm moving to the 4S. My wife is already scheduled to get her 4S this month. I stay because I'm so deeply wrapped in the Google ecosystem. I love Gmail and Calendar. Those two are not enough to keep me.

Flash is fading, Android manufacturers are becoming more iLike with non-replaceable batteries, no SD cards. It seems the only difference is the symbol on the back.

Tick-Tock time is running out on my patience.

If they do end grandfathered unlimited data, I am going to make a big push to get transferred to the double data deal if they are allowing those grandfathered on that to keep it. It's only fair IMO.

I, too, was wondering what those of us with grandfathered unlimited will have to look forward to once we're told we can't have it anymore. Who knows? Perhaps they'll have made 4Gb the new lower data tier by then and replace 2Gb completely (or cheapen it). I would hope they'd offer us 4Gb. Even if some of us would never get that high in a month, it's the principle pf the thing. Mind you, two years from now when everyone has 720p screens and is slurping down video streams, they might not have a choice but to give us that.

Hopefully also by then I can find a keyboarded smartphone my wife will like. She loves the Rhyme, but can't do virtual keyboards. At the same time, she hated the ally and feels the keyboard on the Stratosphere is too flat. Even though the Droid 4 will be smaller than the RAZR, she'll still find that too large for her liking. And feature phones are starting to become an endangered species, it seems. The last phone she loved was one of the messenger phones on Cricket. ;)

Very True, I just don't plan on making ANY changes to my family share plan. The only thing I would ever change is the actual phone(but off contract). Basically saying I will NEVER sign another contract as long as there is no "unlimited" data plan. I will just pay, month to month after my contract ends :)

Why are you yelling? I already clearly stated I was only using March as a reference for discussion.

Sorry, didn't mean to yell. Just trying to make it stand out amongst the clamor. My post wasn't directed towards you, it was just the last one I saw referencing the same "leak". I just find it unproductive and even somewhat misleading to speculate on something posted by some member on a forum since there is no other confirmation of this.
