Help SDCard Storage - Google Music / Zumocast

I have a strange question about SD Card Storage for apps. When I "pin" music from Google Music or when I download a file with Zumocast it puts the files into Internal Storage.

Does anyone know a way to change these to go to the SDCard by default instead?

They probably store it in the sdcard folder, which is located in the user's internal memory & the external card for most other phones. It needs to be stored in the sdcard-ext folder. This is unique to the Bionic. I will look into Zumocast later when I can get a connection.

I check Zumocast. There is no configuriation modification available on the phone side. Maybe there are some hacks avaiable.

Same with Google music.... not real configurable....still in beta.

There was only one GUESS I had and I had no way to try it ...

Settings | Storage | Windows Media Sync | Storage location

Actually, not just unique to the BIONIC. Samsung Galaxy S users overseas encountered the same thing well over 6 months ago.

Other phones with both internal and external storage are going to run into the same problem as well, as long as the nomenclature is the same (which, as far as I have seen, is the same as our phones).

OK, you got me on this one... I don't really know how many of the newer phones have the same memory configuration as the Bionic. I know it was a twist when I juped to the Bionic from the OG. I assume more will be popping up.

I think that is why the RAZR (and I think Galaxy nexus) are not coming with removable SDCards - to avoid that very confusion....

I don't own a Razr but ... doesn't it have a door in the side so you can access the removable SD card?

Whhops - you're right -the RAZR has non removable battery.
