LTE Note announced - possibly coming to Verizon!!

Man I hope Verizon picks up the LTE Note, how sweet would that be!

"Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note LTE, the version of its pen-enabled 5.3-inch Android smartphone packing 4G connectivity. Initially expected to go on sale in South Korea, a Verizon launch in the US is not outside the realms of possibility, though the carrier has not yet commented on whether it will be offering the handset."

Fred, I hope so. 4G LTE was listed on the Samsung site for at least a month but actually having one that works is another thing.

I have another problem, since I don't plan on syncing with Google, I want it all done locally, I have to get pre ICS versions of software for Gingerbread and update it for Companion Link, Deja Office and Documents To Go. Once Android 4 is out, I'll have to get all new programs or versions which work with ICS and may or may not be done when the ICS is available. In other words, it would be nice if they could release it with Android 4.0. For all we know they are thinking that way.

The ironic thing is, I wouldn't even be here if Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 allowed for local syncing, HID Bluetooth and better versions of MS Office on their phones. They walked away from a large market that can get better versions of Excel and Word on an Android, IPhone or BlackBerry. Now, I want the larger phone too.

Why would Verizon need or want the Galaxy Note?

They already have Galaxy Nexus and many other high-end phones.

Doesn't seem to fit their approach and strategy.

Note>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>overrated nexus s..t

Yeah yeah I know it has the new Android system ICS, 0 shatter delay and it can be operated with one hand. Without a sd slot, no stylus, 4.3 inch display,

Why would verizon need and release the bionic, razor, nexus, or rezound in back to back succession? They're all very similar phones. If anything they would want the note just to add some sort of variety to their line up.

But I've given up on trying to make sense of carrier decisions. It's like trying to understand a womans thinking pattern. Sorry ladies ;-p

Isn't it the 3GSM/HSPA+/LTE in this one? That's what I saw in other site. If so, this will go to AT&T, not Verizon. It's very obvious that verizon only loves Motorola and every other phone maker takes back seat, especially Samsung.

On the Samsung site, 4G LTE is mentioned and why would it not, as Verizon has the only 4G LTE network of substance?

The South Korean LTE freq is around 850. Verizon's LTE is Band 13, around 700, so the South Korean LTE model would not work on Verizon or AT&T (which is also in the 700 band, but a different sub-band from Verizon).

I for one would LOVE LOVE LOOOVE if Verizon would get an LTE Galaxy Note. If it was a Galaxy Nexus Note even better but my goodness.. I've been waiting for a 5 inch smartphone since Archos 5s came out several years ago. Im very happy to see the Galaxy Note being so well received. I'd be EXTREMELY dissapointed if Verizon doesn't get the Note for 1st quarter or at all. It would surely do very well not just with consumers especially in the case of artists (a WACOM SCREEN! WOW!) and students who need to take notes, but also for businesses and corporations who'd need signatures and such. Adding write to text would be amazing. PLEASE VERIZON GET THE GALAXY NOTE? NEXUS NOTE IF POSSIBLE but ANY Note is better than no Note. Pretty please??

Possible good news guys! I surely hope this analyst is correct in dating it will come to Verizon as the Galaxy Journal or whatever other name! Add long add they keep the Eexynos cpu ( and keep the bloatware that lags all their devices down or better yet make them as close to non existent as possible) ill be very very happy to renew a contract with them. I also hope they market it sufficiently this could be the perfect device for almost everyone.. for sure those who don't want to have to carry around both a separate phone and tablet, but have them converged into one device. This will certainly not just appeal to tech enthusiasts.
