I am just thinking out loud nothing concrete or confirmed in here and I don't know of exact #'s so mostly guesswork.

Say 120k phones got shipped to Verizon and those are the ones sitting in the warehouses or shipped to stores. There are ~2200 verizon retailers out there (not sure if that is corporate only or include authorized retailers) but 120000 phones to 2200 stores means 54.54 phones/store.

If we exclude the possibility of a preorder and just in stores how long do you think that many phones will last?

Could there possibly be a quiet store release tomorrow where Verizon satisfies the savages and sale out w/ in a week allowing their new phone selling time by itself the rest of the holiday season and making the GNex a back order deal?

Slap or thank me makes no difference but the same old same old was becoming boring.

I don't think that's how it will work. Your mom and pop authorized retailer in Williamsburg, KY (insert small town here) won't be getting the same number of Gnex's as the store mid-town Manhattan (insert big city/densely populated area here).

I already did, but its awful. I am no expert in photoshop. But I could see almost no difference.

I called my local Verizon reseller and asked about the Nexus, the salesman there is impatienly waiting for it as well, he heard that Dec 6th was the date, I'm not sure if he had that day confused with the 8th or not.

but I noticed the 7 day sale ends Dec 5th and Verizon is selling the Refurbished Charge for $49 so we'll see.

According to the HTTP headers on those found images, they were uploaded only a few hours ago!

Since the RAZR was released 11/11, there doesn't appear to be an obvious connection between images being uploaded and an imminent release.

Agreed. Also, I can't imagine a store only release, and not having any available for their online store, OR their telesales reps. I'm fairly sure, in my experiences with VZW, that the salespeople work on commission of some sort, or at least sales quotas or something. I say this because when I was returning my Bionic they were very concerned with the original salesperson getting credit for my prepay, and noting that they'd get credit for the gnex when I buy that. Also the telesales people I've spoken to have put me on their "personal list" to notify me when the gnex is available, so I'm assuming they'd get a commission or something as well. By removing the telesales guys from the initial release, I think they'd royally piss of those people by forcing them to miss out on (by the original posters speculative numbers) 120000 sales.

Good point, but how long will 120k of GNex's last out in the wild? Looking from here, inside this forum, out seems like a day but I know we are the savages. Is the general public going to bite hard on this too? It isn't going to be an iPod fiasco obviously but 120k isn't a lot of phones.

I have found zero on the website, not even a morsel.

I expected to at least find http://cache.vzw.com/stylesheets/skins/nexus.css

Just change the nexus, to razr,charge or whatever to see the layout for the website.

Thats even if they decide to give it a proper website, they probably just throw it in the store.
