Have been using Android for over a month now. Honestly, I think iOS is a superior operating system, and the App Store offers a far superior experience than the shitty Android Market and Amazon AppStore. The only good thing about Android is that it is available on many carriers and many different phones, so the choices are many.
It is exactly like the situation with Mac vs Windows. Mac is the superior operating system, but what Windows offer is choices: you can pick and choose any manufacturer and any setup for your PC. While Mac and MacBook comes in perhaps half a dozen models at most, I can seriously customize a Windows PC -- or just completely build it with whatever components I want.
iOS is the Mac for smartphones. Android is the Windows for smartphones. (I prefer Windows over Mac, by the way. I like choices and options.)
