Help How to Clear Apps from Notification Bar

Is there a way to clear the apps that show up when you pull down the notification bar? Or, is there a setting to shut that feature off?

Thanks

If you are talking about the recently used apps list when the notification screen is pulled down then thee should be a "clear" button at the top right of the screen just over the list of said apps. If you don't have that or I am not addressing the issue you meant then idk what the solution is.

No, that's not what he's asking. The most recently used apps stay up there. Only way to clear them is to reboot the phone.

This is something that'll probably be fixable once we have root.

Yep. No matter how many times I pushed the clear button, the apps stayed. I rooted my Eris as soon as we got root, but I imagine I'll wait a while with the Rezound.

Really? That's strange. When I hit clear all my recently used apps disappear. The only app that isn't removed is Lookout which I have constantly running in the background. Hmm.

I'm not sure why mine do but I guess that explains why the OP's question seems so odd to me. I was like how can he not see the clear button right next to the actual app history..lol. I'm sure some other people are able to clear it as well though I can't see it working for just my phone.

Sure. It's charging now since I ran the battery down but I could still do a screen shot. Maybe I'm talking about something different than you guys are but anyway, here's the picture.

Ahh i see them. They don't seem that bad. That actually bothers people? It's like the top 1/5 of the drop down screen right? I guess if you've always had that you don't really notice it...lol. As I've said before this is my first smartphone so it's all new to me and what happens with the ReZound will be what I perceive as normal from this point on.

Hold the Home button to get the list of running apps, and if you swipe one left or right to end it, it'll take it off of that list. Unfortunately if you want to keep the application running, this doesn't help.
