Are there any known problems in latest Gingerbread (4.08.605.2)?

One is that if I try to view my saved alarms, often there are none listed. I then have to "add" an alarm and they all show up. Weird and slightly annoying.

I have the same problem, I dont press add, I just click on the world clock after I back out and it works. I am having problems with my SD card reading or reading very slowly, don't know how much is related to the phone, software or sd card.

I'm using the stock messaging widget for Sense - The dark one that lists everyone in one view - and I find if I slide over to it, the various names are kinda ... blinky... occasionally. One will be brighter than another, and another might "flash" bright than others in the list.

It's random... and totally bizarre. Has anyone had that happen to them?

Before the gingerbread update, i tried updating my Gmail app to the 2.3 version. I had problems with the push notification. I then uninstalled the update and went back to the original 2.2 version pre-loaded on the phone. All the push notification issues went away and the app performed without glitches. Needless to say I was disappointed that the gingerbread update contained the 2.3 version. I have frequent push notification issues and find that going to menu, accounts & sync, clicking on the google account and then clicking sync now is the best way to re-establish the push notification. Just clicking on refresh within the app doesn't do it. I've read plenty of complaints on the gmail app comment page within the market. Leave it to google to break their flagship app....C'mon. I wish I could downgrade back to 2.2 - however with gingerbread I realize this would probably mean rooting...

Gmail stopped pushing a couple of days ago. If I manually refresh one of my accounts it pulls the other ones. I've been bone stock since day one but I think this may push me to root.

after a long time of not being able to do the update because of low storage space B.S i just decided to reset my phone, this is also because the previous ones got rid of my adw launcher settings and everything so it was essentially reset but really. Anyways, resetting and installing the newest update worked great and my phone is running really well, might be a good way for ppl to go if they are annoyed

Here's a problem I have not seen elsewhere. I have some folders scattered on my home screens. In these folders I put apps that are similar. For example, on the main home screen I have a folder called music and in it I have 4 apps - the stock music app, google music, sky.fm and Pandora. Something is causing some, not all, of the apps to lose their icon and have it replaced with a generic android icon. From what I can tell, these apps are installed on my SD card. The apps installed on the phone do not lose their icons. And, this only happens in folders. Icons on the home screens themselves are fine. Everything was fine prior to the GB upgrade.

I find that the widgets on my home screen have to reload from scratch a lot now. Used to only happen after using a big app, now it happens even with the medium apps too so it happens a lot more and with my most frequently used apps. Takes a good five seconds or more each time, just annoying.

Installed the latest GB update last night, and after the low space debacle, finally got it resolved. I did have problems with getting my corporate Exchange calendar to sync. The mail and contacts came down fine, but no calendar. Searched the web with no results, and just started fiddling. Finally got it resolved!! Thought I would post here so others may find.

First I deleted the Exchange account on the phone. I then had to remote into my Exchange Server (2010) and delete the partnership with the mobile phone. If you don't have access to your server, get your IT people to do it. I then added the Exchange account on the phone, and got all the settings correct, and the first sync grabbed all the mail, contacts AND the calendar entries. If you use a third party app for calendaring (I use Calendar Pad), you may have to go into the settings for the native Calendar app and choose which calendars you want to display. I don't use my Google calendar, just the Exchange. Perfect (so far)!!

I'm having the same problem. I read an email and the icon still shows I have unread emails. It does sync correctly once i click on the mail icon, but that is not acceptable.

I have noticed that I will get an EMAIL notification on my phone after deleting or moving an email while working on my desktop. It is very annoying since I do most of my main email work on my desktop. I tried searching for solutions, but only ended up finding more people with the same problem.

Google services not syncing is a symptom of the low space error. Before the latest update my stuff would stop syncing every time I got the low space warning and would resume as soon I cleared up enough space for the error to go away.

I just got the low space warning yesterday with the latest update. Clearly they did not fix this.

Also, my wifi will get into on/off loops that can't be fixed without a reboot.

I already have cases and a screen protector for the Galaxy Nexus I'm buying as soon as it goes on sale.

I've had the update installed for about a week now and have not come across any bugs. Initially, my phone would not install the update, it would download but the installation would freeze, so I had to contact Verizon. The solution was to do a hard reset. Once the reset was completed the phone automatically downloaded and installed the newest update. If you have to do this, make sure you either take out your sd card or choose not to reset/format your card. I might advise you to take it out if you are not sure. In case you are wondering, I did not lose any apps that were paid for. Once your phone resyncs with gmail, your apps and contacts will come back. I had a couple of apps from the amazon appstore, once I reinstalled the appstore, those apps came back as well. I did get the "low memory" notification before this update and since the update (knock on wood) it has not come back. Other than low memory, I have not had any issues with my phone.

I've found that my Gmail stops notifying me of email only when the charger is connected and the phone is in standby (say overnight when I sleep), so I awake in the morning and have to manually refresh both accounts to see new email.

One solution I found was to uninstall the Gmail updates from the Market, and reinstall them, then I begin to get notifications again. This will usually last a few days until it will stop notifying me again overnight and I'll repeat the install/uninstall updates to fix it.

Will try the sync idea mentioned above though just in case.

For those of you who stopped getting push Gmail (or auto refreshes of any kind), did you find that a factory reset worked as a solution?

Writing this post will probably jinyx up my current solution, but here it goes anyways...On a post somewhere on this forum someone mentioned something about an app called Synker. I set it up so that I could have an easy button to push to get the sync going when it stopped. I told it to sync gmail and the push notifications. I also told it tell me in the notification bar when things were syncing. I've found that for some reason, the program seems to keep the push notification working, I haven't had problems since using it. It will sometimes detect a gmail sync issue, but then it seems to force the program to try again a couple of moments later and it usually works. Give it a try, you might be surprised.
